Tequila

Don Julio Tequila

A small batch Anejo named after founder Don Julio Gonzalez-Frausto Estrada, who first distilled Tequila at the age of just 17 in 1942. Aged for at least 30 months in American white-oak, this is a remarkably smooth and incredibly complex Tequila with notes of tropical fruit, agave and a hint of cinnamon spice. Day of the Dead is one of Mexicos most celebrated national holidays. This unique celebration of cultural diversity is celebrated through decoration, and an abundance of fantastic quality food and tequila. Tequila connoisseurship has shifted up a gear, away from the well-worn triple-threat of salt, lime and shot. Makers are now experimenting with different production styles, and revellers are loving the results. With the Day of the Dead celebration kicking off on the 31st of October, now is the time to embrace tequila, the spirit crafted in Mexico from the agave blue weber plant.

Patron Gran Patron Piedra Tequila

The word Piedra means Stone in Spanish, because this very unique spirit was created entirely from an ancient process whereby a large tahona stone, wheeled slowly, crushes the agave. The resulting juice is then fermented and distilled with the crushed agave fiber, creating an herbaceous and earthy flavor. The taste is sweet, yet rich and complex, combining an herbaceous agave flavour with light vanilla, and fresh mushroom. The finish is long-lasting and remarkably smooth.

Prospero Prospero Anejo Tequila

Aged for a minimum of 12 months in oak barrels, Próspero Añejo has flavors of spice, toasted caramel, cacao and roasted fruit.

Patron El Alto Tequila

Patrón El Alto is passionately handcrafted from the finest 100% Weber Blue agave grown in the highest parts of Jalisco, Mexico primarily using the traditional Tahona production process. It is primarily crafted with Extra Añejo and blended with Añejo and Reposado tequilas each aged to their maximum potential. Patrón El Alto is primarily created using the traditional Tahona production method, a method that takes meticulous precision and time. The agaves are baked for days in clay ovens before being ground with ancient volcanic stone, and aged in a complexity of wood barrels for an exceptionally smooth and sweet taste with subtle notes of figs, honey, caramel, dried fruit, and vanilla. The unique sweet, dried fruit notes of Patrón El Alto are a result of having been expertly aged in 11 types of barrels, mostly hybrid barrels of American oak body & French oak heads.
