Tears of Llorona No 3 Extra Anejo Tequila

Tears of Llorona stands proudly as an exceptional extra extra añejo tequila, crafted to perfection. Its journey begins with 100% blue agaves sourced from the high volcanic slopes of Jalisco, where the slow growth of the agaves ensures unparalleled quality. Master Tequilero Germán Gonzalez, with his expert touch, hand-selects these agaves, allowing them to be harvested late, thereby augmenting their starch and sugar content. The piñas, or hearts of the agaves, are meticulously roasted in the traditional manner, imparting depth and complexity to the tequila. Germán's proprietary yeast and a deliberate slow fermentation process further enhance the development of flavors. Distillation takes place in copper pot stills, harnessing the essence of the agaves with precision. Tears of Llorona undergoes a truly unique aging process, maturing in three distinct types of barrels. The oak barrels have previously held scotch, sherry, and brandy, infusing the tequila with a complex fusion of flavors. Germán carefully selects and blends these barrels in small batches, crafting a spirit that transcends traditional tequila and resembles the sophistication of cognac. The tequila's name, Tears of Llorona, draws inspiration from the "angel's tears" - the high rate of osmotic loss during the aging process. This phenomenon, coupled with the emotional resonance of the name, adds another layer of depth to the spirit. Tears of Llorona has garnered acclaim from an impressive array of esteemed publications and experts. The Wall Street Journal, The Robb Report, Forbes, Vanity Fair, Food & Wine, Men's Journal, New York Times, Huffington Post, and many others have all recognized and praised this spirit as a worthy contender among the world's finest. Tears of Llorona is a testament to the artistry and craftsmanship that defines the pinnacle of tequila-making.

Los Azulejos Skelly Reposado Tequila

Founded by Pedro Quintanilla who was a man of art, passion, and tradition. Born in Mexico City, he grew up surrounded by the beauty, architecture, art, and rich colours of Mexico. Always prominent in the beauty, were the hand-painted azulejos tiles that adorned the haciendas, patios and kitchens of his home country, which inspired the name for the brand, tequila Azulejos. The Skelly Collection brings together two key elements of the Mexican culture: tequila and calaveras (skulls); inspired by one of the most important national symbols celebrating the day of the dead or Dia de Los Muertos. Calaveras decorate cemeteries, altars, houses and corners in Mexico and has become a symbol of Mexican pop-culture. An authentic 100% Blue Weber Agave tequila made with traditional methods. Produced with fully matured agave from 50% Highlands and 50% Lowlands of Jalisco, slow-roasted in brick ovens before being slow-fermented, and extracted by roller press. The resulting liquid is double distilled before ageing in Bourbon barrels for 6 months and is additive free. The Los Azulejos Reposado Tequila has aromas of orange blossom, basil, hazelnut & nutmeg. The palate begins tart and acidic, before moving to a firm texture and flavour of honey oak, and vanilla bean yet with herbal agave notes still present. The finish is long, with some toffee and vegetal notes. A reposado whose naturally sweet disposition is its finest asset.

Curado Tequila Blanco - Infusión de Agave Cupreata

To make Curado, the distillery uses a blanco Tequila from the Highlands of Jalisco as a canvas, then they infuse the liquid with pieces of cooked Agave. At first the infusions only used Blue Agave from the state of Jalisco, but the project soon evolved to include other varieties of Agave from other regions of Mexico. They want to build bridges, not walls. Curado is an innovative product, full of subtle nuances, continuing to respect the Mexican tradition and culture. Curado Tequila Blanco - Infusión de Agave Cupreata has flavours of baked earth, cut grass, roasted agave and cooked bell peppers. A touch of honeyed sweetness develops.

Sangre de Vida Premium Tequila Blanco

As wine is to France, Tequila is to Mexico – the life blood of the people. For the purest at heart and those who want that true agave flavour, Sangre de Vida Blanco captivates with a bouquet of banana, citrus, green bell pepper and white flowers. Once you have had a taste of the light peppery, agave with a hint of minerals from the earth your taste buds will long for another sip. Sangre de Vida Blanco tequila begins with slow roasting the agave piña hearts in stone-walled brick ovens. This centuries-old art of slow-cooking is then followed by cooling, shredding, and finally squeezing the hearts into a mosto (sweet juice), which then ferments for five days, after which is then distilled three times (with its final distillation completed in small stills with even more heat).

818 Tequila Blanco

818 Tequila is a brand that prides itself on working closely with local, family-owned farms in Jalisco, Mexico to deliver the smoothest most natural and best-tasting tequila possible. With a commitment to using only the highest quality ingredients, 818 Tequila ensures that every bottle embodies the essence of craftsmanship and authenticity. The ethos of 818 Tequila goes beyond just creating exceptional spirits. The brand recognizes the importance of sustainability and transparency throughout its supply chain. Taking inspiration from the area code 818, which represents their home, they also acknowledge that the earth is home to all of us. With this in mind, 818 Tequila places great emphasis on sourcing their agaves responsibly and ensuring the production process is environmentally friendly. The journey of 818 Tequila begins with the skilled jimadores, local agave farmers from the Tequila region. These experts identify the optimal conditions for growing agaves in the Los Valles region, patiently waiting for at least 7 years until the agaves reach peak maturity. Once harvested, the agaves undergo a slow cooking process that lasts for over 30 hours. Large stone Tahonas, weighing 800 kilograms each, are then utilized to crush the cooked agaves. This age-old technique allows for the extraction and collection of the juice, preserving the authenticity and tradition of tequila production. The extracted juice, known as "mosto," then goes through a natural fermentation process. Unique wood and stainless steel tanks are utilized, and the fermentation is enriched by using leftover agave fibers from the tahonas. Native yeast is added to enhance the aromatic expression, resulting in a deeper and more nuanced flavor profile. The tequila is distilled in hand-built copper alembic pot stills of the highest quality. It undergoes a double distillation process, carefully monitoring the alcohol volume to achieve the desired smoothness that 818 Tequila is known for. To further enhance the character of the tequila, it is aged in superior oak barrels. The Reposado and Añejo expressions are aged in both American and French oak, allowing for a harmonious fusion of flavors. Expert blending techniques ensure that each bottle of 818 Tequila embodies the iconic taste that the brand is celebrated for - smooth, versatile and sippable. 818 Tequila Blanco 700ml is a remarkable expression that showcases the brand's dedication to crafting exceptional tequila. With its brilliant platinum colour and light body, it entices the senses from the moment it is poured. On the nose, aromas of lemongrass, mild floral elements, chamomile and light minerality create an inviting bouquet. These delicate scents set the stage for the tasting experience to come. These notes are complemented by undertones of tropical and citrus fruit, adding a vibrant and refreshing dimension to the tequila. The taste is a harmonious balance of sweetness and fruitiness, creating a truly enjoyable sipping experience. As the journey continues, the finish of 818 Tequila Blanco is ultra-smooth and bright. It leaves a crisp impression on the palate, with lingering notes of almond, key lime pie and toasted coconut. These flavors add depth and complexity to the overall profile, making each sip a memorable one. What makes 818 Tequila Blanco 700ml special is its resting period in oak barrels. This process imparts a fresh vanilla roundness to the tequila, enhancing its flavour profile and adding a touch of smoothness to the finish.
