Corte Camari Siciliane Grillo
Bright straw yellow hue. Bouquet reminiscent of pineapple and lemon, with a subtle touch of flowers. In the mouth it is fresh, with great minerality and a long, persistent finish.
Grillo
COLOUR Intense and bright golden yellow by the glass. NOSE Citrus blossom & grapefruit come together in a soft, fruit forward fragrance. The nose is articulated and rich, opened by floral and slightly herbaceous notes, then followed by references to white peach and citrus references to cedar. PALATE An edgy & delicious wine with notes of lemon, peach & pear. Stoney and savoury with a blast of lemon citrus fruits, a touch of blood orange & peach juice wrapped up in a vivid, mineral acidity. The sip is easy and lively, snappy, fresh, and savoury. Long persistence. FOOD PAIRING Think of Grillo as the fuller, sexier sister of Pinot Grigio. With herbal notes and bright acidity, this wine pairs perfectly with prawns or Caesar salad.
Brookie's Shirl the Pearl
Grill House Shiraz Pinotage
Pinotage defines the unique character of South African reds with its smoky berry character, while Shiraz adds a little more spicy oomph. In Grill House, Trophy winning Gerhard Swart has created a gorgeous, punchy rich red – but then he is known locally as ‘King of Pinotage’. As the name suggests, it's looking for a grill or barbecue (or 'braai' as the South Africans would say).
John Dapetrosino Grillo
Straw yellow with lime-ish flints. Fragrant, notes of tropical fruit, green mandarin, fresh almond, and tantalizing hints of aromatic herbs, along with the inevitable trace of sea salt. Crisp and savoury, with a satisfying finish. A perfect summer wine, enjoyed by the beach with a summer salad.
Recaredo Serral del Vell Brut Nature
Under Wraps Big Fine Girl Riesling
Eden Valley rieslings tend to be a little more delicate and floral compared to the more zingy style founc in Clare Valley. This Riesling is no exception - bursting with mandarin, lemon, lime lychee, white flower floral and fennel flavours making this Riesling an absolutely perfect accompaniment to shellfish and spicy Asian dishes.
Bitter Queens Shanghai Shirley 5-Spice Bitters
With spicy pepper, star anise, and warm spice with a bitter backbone, this bitters works equally well with tequila, gin, whiskey or try it culinarily with Asian marinades and sauces.
