Moppity Estate Tumbarumba Chardonnay

Silenus Reserve Black Label Langhorne Creek Chardonnay

Conditions for grape growing in Langhorne Creek are ideal thanks to the natural fertility of the floodplain soils, the ability of those soils to retain moisture from natural winter floods, and the moderation of the local climate by cooling evening breezes off nearby Lake Alexandrina and the Southern Ocean in summer. Fragrant honeydew melon, white peach, fleshy mango and pineapple, with lively acid on the back palate and just a touch of creamy oak. It’s a beautiful match to roast chicken with all the trimmings.

Marauding Vintners Langhorne Creek Lady Chardonnay

For the Marauding Vintners, real wine is not a commodity, but an expression of people, place and time, where art and nature merge. They know the real deal is often found off the beaten track, and devote time to tracking down the genuine characters. Lady Chardonnay is quite the actress. Born, it's said, from a liaison between a French aristocrat and an uncultivated 'peasant'. She appears the world over in many guises, winning rave reviews in Burgundy, Champagne and select Aussie venues – appearing luscious and well-rounded where the sun shines most, lean and elegant in cooler climes. You'll adore the fresh, modern, beautifully balanced performance she gives here.

Chateau Tanunda Parishes Limestone Coast Chardonnay

“Parishes", as Château Tanunda’s website describes it."... celebrates the heritage of our pre-eminent Australian wine regions, born from grape-growing communities as flavorsome as the wine they produce. Our carefully crafted drops embody exceptional regional character. “The Limestone Coast continues to push its reputation as one of the better regions in this country for one of the world’s most popular grapes, Chardonnay... appealing tropical notes with cashews and the merest hint of woodsmoke to add to the complexity. There is coiled power too, a seductive texture and good acidity with impressive length to finish.” Ken Gargett, Winepilot). "Delightfully styled and elegantly complex, the bouquet shows white flesh stone fruit, rockmelon, lemon zest and nougat aromas, followed by a beautifully rounded palate displaying creamy texture backed by bright acidity, finishing smooth and refreshing. Coulter Wines C1 Adelaide Hills Chardonnay

This is a “delicately scented” Chardonnay of great subtlety and considerable charm, from two vineyard sites “concentrated with hints of peaches, grapefruits and an array of stonefruit, with a minerally backing in support.” (Ken Gargett Wine Pilot). Chris Coulter practices minimum intervention with his Coulter Wines enterprise, sourcing grapes mainly from the Adelaide Hills, and his Chardonnay is “fine and delicately scented, the bouquet displays notes of crunchy apple, grapefruit, oatmeal, and subtle almond, leading to an elegantly weighted palate that is linear and persistent. The wine is gorgeously structured by bright acidity, finishing refined and complex.” (Sam Kim Wine Orbit).

Byron & Harold Rose & Thorns Great Southern Chardonnay

Lost Farm Tasmania Chardonnay

Richard Angove was very lucky to have grown up in a winemaking family. Since 1886, five generations of his family have worked in winemaking and grape growing. In 2008 he worked harvest in the beautiful Tamar Valley in northern Tasmania. He just loved the landscape, vineyards and flavours of the wines. Many years later when the opportunity arose to work with a number of small growers to create a range of small batch wines, he could not resist the opportunity, and so Lost Farm Wines was born.
