Teusner Righteous Grenache
The now much sought after Righteous range of wines from Kym Teusner was first established in 2005 with the Grenache and this is the latest incarnation of this foreboding Barossa wine. Sourced from an 80 year old bush-vine vineyard, the Righteous Grenache was gently crushed and fermented in open fermenters with regular pump-overs. Maturation was completed in a mix of French and American oak and has resulted in a modern classic Grenache.
Teusner Riebke Shiraz
Another hearty expression of Barossa's generous fruit from the impressive Teusner stable. Black olives, black pepper and blackberries, there's a dark side to this feisty Shiraz. Concentrated and thick yet artfully constructed with balance and efficiency.
Teusner M C Sparkling Shiraz
Made by the nicest man in the business Kym Teusner, this Sparkling Shiraz was made to go with a hearty Barossa Breakfast. However if you don't live in the Barossa, we suggest you drink it at your leisure. Full bodied and juicy, its another wonderful wine from this wonderful producer. Keep one in the fridge, just in case...
Teusner Albert Shiraz
Teusner Albert Shiraz is made from old vines in the northern Barossa; rich black fruits and tarry cassis with smoky undertones, the finish is long and luscious. Could easily be cellared for the medium term.
TEUSNER RED RUNES SHIRAZ GIN 37PCT
Crafted by a South Australian icon, Teusner Red Runes Shiraz Gin brings the bold spirit of the Barossa into the world of Gin. Made from 100% Barossa Valley Shiraz grapes and infused with Macedonian juniper, South Australian coriander seed, Riverland orange zest, chamomile, and lavender, it’s a Gin that’s dark, juicy, and deeply expressive. Aromas of ripe Shiraz, citrus, and lavender lead to flavours of choc-dipped raspberries and lingering floral spice, with a silky, vibrant finish.
Teusner Righteous Mataro
Barossa Valley identity, Kym Teusner, harnesses the fruit weight and concentration of old vine Mataro with expert hands here with the Righteous Mataro. The fruit was sourced from the 'fruit salad' vineyard planted in the 1930s and consists mostly of Grenache, but if you look closely, every fourth vine is a quirky Mataro vine! Wonderful layers of spice over dense blue and black fruits pave the way for a finish that is utterly long and sublime.
