St Hugo

St Hugo Cabernet Shiraz

St Hugo Cabernet Shiraz displays a dark ruby red with purple hues. The bouquet of dark forest fruits such as plum, blueberry and cassis lead into a beautifully complex palate of blackcurrent, sweet plum and chalky tannins. There is a underlying savoury oak hint and a finish of lingering dark chocolate.

St Hugo DR3 Cabernet Sauvignon

St Hugo Vetus Purum Cabernet Sauvignon

The nose is intense and multi-faceted. Notes of blackcurrant and cedar are interwoven into a sophisticated expression that constantly intrigues. Harmony and balance are immediately apparent in this elegant, medium to full-bodied wine. The palate is assertive yet refined, with concentrated flavours of blackcurrant, berry and olive supported by subtle cedar spice from the oak. This is a premium Cabernet Sauvignon reflecting the unique terroir and pristine environment of the Coonawarra.

St Hugo The Unspoken Promise Cabernet

Concentrated flavours of ripe forest fruits and rich dark chocolate flood the palate, supported by powerful tannins that will see this wine stand up beautifully as it ages. The influence of oak is elegant; integrated seamlessly to add layers of complexity on the palate. St Hugo is a fine wine unlike any other. It is crafted with the same care, passion and skill as many other fine wines. But it has one element that is unique. Only St Hugo wine is created to honour the love between a father and a son. The St Hugo home is open in the heart of the Barossa Valley, where Hugo Gramp was born in 1895. Here you can enjoy these outstanding collections of wines and dine in the stunning award winning restaurant. Since the first vintage of 1980, every bottle of St Hugo is crafted without compromise. It is a promise of excellence and an homage to love.

St Hugo Grenache Shiraz Mataro

This award-winning Grenache Shiraz Mataro blend is sourced from specific sites from within the Barossa Valley to provide complexity and vibrancy. A very smart wine with sweet, cherry driven up-front fruit with licks of savoury spice and juicy loose knit tannin.

Whilst elegant fine tannins dance with bright red fruits and hints of oak to deliver a seamlessperformance on the palate. Long live DR3 the 3rd.

St Hugo Shiraz Gift Boxed

Born on 19 September 1895 in the Barossa Valley, Hugo Gramp lived and worked his entire life in this world-renowned wine region. Hugo’s grandfather, Johann Gramp, was one of the wine pioneers of this revered wine region, planting his first vines in 1847, and starting the wine business that would be later called G Gramp & Sons by Hugo's father Gustav, and that Hugo would one day lead. Today, St Hugo wines are prized by wine collectors and connoisseurs the world over, and Hugo’s legacy is celebrated at the St Hugo cellar door in the Barossa. In 1983, Hugo Gramp’s legacy was honoured with the release of the first wine named ‘St Hugo’. The addition of the title ‘St’ was inspired by the charming European tradition of naming vineyards after saints to bestow good fortune upon them. Crafted from the outstanding 1980 vintage, the first St Hugo Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon was hailed for its power and elegance, much like the great man himself. Today, St Hugo continues to set the benchmark for excellence in Australian Cabernet Sauvignon, with every vintage released awarded gold. St Hugo is a premium collection of Australian red wines from the acclaimed Jacob’s Creek winery. This Barossa shiraz unfurls and grows, revealing pepper, tobacco and other new forms with every passing minute. Nothing stays the same. Echoes, memories and skywriting all fade - and yet we still have hope, thanks to those precious few things that just grow, and grow again, catalysed by nothing more than indoor air. Unfurling and filling like a hot air balloon, revealing new shapes, new vistas every passing minute.
