Seppelt Arrawatta Hill 170th Birthday Shiraz

The Release of this limited edition single vineyard wine commemorates the 170th Anniversary of Seppelt s winemaking heritage this year. Like St Peters, this wine showcases the power and finesse of shiraz from the Great Western sub region but focuses on the Arrawatta blocks of our Great Western vineyard. This wine has been made using techniques that push the boundaries of traditional Seppelt shiraz, with the entire blend consisting of partial whole bunch fermented parcels, It is the first single block red crafted from Arrawatta Hill. Located approximately three kilometres south of the Seppelt Great Western winery on a gently sloping hill, the land was originally purchased in 1888 by Hans Irvine for sparkling varieties; however, in 1999 it was replanted entirely to shiraz. Today, our Arrawatta blocks offer some of the best performing shiraz vines in the vineyard.

Seppelt Hooded Woman Sparkling Rose

Seppelt have been making sparkling wine in Australia since the 1890s their newest sparkling Rosé, Hooded Woman, has a beautiful, ethereal character that draws you in. This classic, dry style of sparkling rosé begins with a complex, savoury nose of brioche, mineral salt and wild strawberry. The palate boasts further strawberry notes as well as rhubarb and red currant. The wine finishes with an ever so slight phenolic grip and saline acid that draws out the palate and is the perfect compliment to the flavoursome and soft mid palate.

Seppelt Gruner Veltliner

Aromas of sweet spice and peppercorns with pears and green apple. The palate shows spiced pears and citrus combined with textural elements and fine, chalky acidity typical of the Henty region.

Seppelt Drumborg Pinot Noir

Planted in the Southern Victorian cool-climate region of Henty in 1964, the Drumborg Vineyard has become one of Australia's premier vineyards for producing Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay. The complex, perfumed nose shows aromas of spiced cherry, toasty oak and complex charcuterie notes. Flavours of sour cherries and redcurrants combine with textural elements and fine, layered tannins with a backbone of spicy well-integrated French oak.

Seppelt Single Vineyard Para Liqueur Port

First released in 1953, this wine commonly known as Para Port is based on Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro, matured in seasoned oak barrels for around 28 years. The vintage date refers to the oldest component of the blend, which conflicts with current labelling standards.
