Petaluma Coonawarra Red Blend

This Cabernet Merlot is a dark purple with red and dark berries on the nose along with the famous Coonawarra mint. The palate shows complex dark berries with dark chocolate and cedar. the wine has a long finish with sea spray notes which compliment the fine grained tannins and persistent fruit.

Petaluma Project Co Malbec

A long-standing favourite variety in Bordeaux, malbec does particularly well in Coonawarra. The Petaluma Project Company Malbec is a ripe-fruited, finely structured, spicy dry red with smooth, abundant and rich tannins.The Project Co is Petaluma’s outlet for innovation beyond its core stable of cabernet from Coonawarra, chardonnay from the Adelaide Hills and riesling from the Clare Valley. The range showcases alternative varieties that you might not be so familiar with, and the different production techniques that go along with them. These are limited release wines so don’t wait too long to try them.

Petaluma Hanlin Hill Riesling

Petaluma Riesling is one of Australia's finest examples of this noble variety. Pale straw in colour the palate exhibits lemon and grapefuit flavours matched by some fresh and racy acidity. Sourced from the home of great Australian Riesling, this trademark Clare Valley aromatic white is wonderful when opened upon release and like all great Rieslings, will develop brilliant toasty characters over a 10 year period in the bottle.

Petaluma Riesling

1998 was the fourth successive drought vintage in the Clare Valley. This Riesling has a fuller orange blossom flavour and aroma produced from a drought year.

Petaluma Coonawarra

A stylish blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a touch of Shiraz and Petit Verdot, from low yielding vineyards have produced another wine of elegance and class. Blackberry, mint and tobacco flavours are framed by fine tannin. The Shiraz adds some supple softness and the Petit Verdot adding aromatic lift. Another triumph!

Crafted in small quantities from some of the finest parcels Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon fruit. Made in years only when grapes are of extraordinarily high quality.

Petaluma, founded in 1976, crafts ultra-premium wines by carefully selecting the best sites within a particular region suited to a chosen variety. This is our 'distinguished vineyards' philosophy. This pioneering attitude towards responsive and instinctive viticulture and winemaking is as uncompromising and true today as it was more than 35 years ago. One of the longest living and slowest to mature of modern Coonawarra red wines, sourced from hand-pruned vineyards in the centre and extreme north of the region. Only released in good to great years.

Petaluma White Label Pinot Gris

Petaluma have access to some of South Australia's premier vineyard sites which are put to impressive use here with their White Label Pinot Gris. 100% sourced from the Adelaide Hills, yet four vineyards are used to create this delicious white; two in the Piccadilly Valley, one near Balhannah and one near Lenswood. Only the very best fruit was selected and left to ferment in older French barriques, the resulting wine has a classic cool-climate backbone with racy acidity and depth of flavour on the palate.
