Penfolds Bin 389 is the classic South Australian red! A magnificent blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz from the very best regions and vineyards available to Peter Gago and his team, the robust nature of the Cabernet grape give structure and body to the wine while the opulent Shiraz fruit provides suppleness and intensity. The storied vineyards of France famously gave Max Schubert his inspiration for Grange. With this release we head back to France for the inaugural FWT 543 release. A classic Australian blend of structural Cabernet Sauvignon and rich, textural Syrah, reimagined in a French context. Fruit sweetness intertwines with brioche oak and lively acidity for a sensory delight.

One of the benchmark wines to come out of the Coonawarra, the Penfolds Bin 128 is a delightful cool-climate shiraz. Matured in French Oak, with flavours of white pepper and floral spice, the 2014 Bin 128 is a rich and full-bodied Shiraz.

Penfolds Bin 23 Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir is named after the maturation Cellar 23 at Magill Estate. Bin 23 Pinot Noir is a bold, new addition to the Bin collection and promises to be a dynamic member of the Bin family - reflecting its evolving style, regional definition and the complexities of the many & varied clones of Pinot Noir.

Sourced from highly regarded vineyards across the Champagne region. The blend is made up of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. Complete and assured, this Cuvée Brut is fresh on the nose, and lively on the palate. Explore just baked lemon meringue pie, raspberry, nougat and vanillin pod. Champagne through a Penfolds lens.

Well-balanced with subtle mandarin and raspberry fruits over a flavour base of strawberry, Turkish Delight and pistachio. Penfolds partnered with Thiénot, a respected player in the world of Champagne, to create this non-vintage champagne brut rosé. Colour: Youthful, bright/vivid pale-salmon Aromas: An ascent of (textbook) grenadine fruits – Avec raspberry, redcurrant, blackcurrant and strawberry. Sans pomegranate. And the citrus - pink grapefruit / mandarin marmalade. And the florals/confiserie – scents of Anis de Flavigny Violet Pastiles or Violets of Toulouse; lily. Upon sitting – wafts of cherry jam, sorry confiture. Palate: Inviting, exotic. Balanced, with an overt freshness - crispness up-front, and a delicate dosage imprint on finish. Relaxed acidity, friendly effervescence. Subtle mandarin and raspberry fruits impact immediately – over a flavour base of strawberry with pepper / Turkish Delight with pistachio. Stylistically light on its feet and sprightly … its ‘Champagne character’ teasingly revealed upon sitting. Impatience? A second glass immediately beckons. Standing on its own two feet, this release delivers a contemporary Shiraz alternative, framed by a mix of oaks; French and American, old and new - crafted in accordance with the traditional Penfolds method.

Proudly, a wine style that hasn’t succumbed to the dictates of fashion or commerce. St Henri is rich and plush when young, gaining soft, earthy, mocha-like characters as it ages. It is matured in old, 1,460 litre vats that allow the wine to develop, imparting minimal, if any oak character. Although a small proportion of Cabernet is sometimes used to improve structure, the focal point for St Henri remains Shiraz.
