Mountain Goat

Mountain Goat Aussie Wheat Can

Mountain Goat has been championing Aussie craft beer since 1997, putting our own spin on the classics from our first ever release, Hightail Ale - a modern take on English Amber Ales, to the original Summer Ale, and Steam Ale. 25 years on that innovative spirit has led us to our biggest challenge yet: reinvigorating a wheat beer for whole new generation of drinkers. Made with locally-grown wheat, this beer isnt just a riff on a classic; this is Aussie Wheat Beer. In the can you'll find a slightly hazy brew, with notes of mandarin and pear and a crisp finish that's immensely refreshing.

Mountain Goat Very Enjoyable Beer

For almost 21 years Mountain Goat has been a pioneer of the craft beer industry. 'GOAT is a simple, no-nonsense craft beer, with stripped back complexity; no crazy beer styles, no hop names. Its just GOAT. And its very enjoyable.

Mountain Goat Hopped Gin

We’re not shy about our love for big, hoppy beers, so it felt natural that our first gin release should use hops as a balanced part of the spirit. This might be a brewer's gin, but it's one that's been made for everyone who enjoys great craft spirits. Inspired by the classic London-Dry style, our Hopped Gin is juniper-forward with strong resinous, citrus, and herbal notes. At first sip there is a subtle heat from the native pepper berry, which leads into resinous, piney flavours from the juniper and hops. A rounded citrus and coriander profile presents itself on the mid-palate, adding a pleasant herbal warmth before the florals kick in for that unmistakeable finish. This is a versatile gin that be can served with a tonic on ice, and most citrus garnishes to complement the subtle resinous flavours of the juniper and cascade hops.

Mountain Goat Billy The Mid Can

If you think you know mid-strength beer then you haven’t met Billy. Brewed with New Zealand malts and American hops, Billy the Mid is an easy-drinking, transpacific pale ale that doesn’t compromise on flavour. Full-bodied with citrus aromas and a crisp finish, this is mid-strength beer Mountain Goat style.

Mountain Goat Unplugged Helles Lager

In 1993 Nirvana was on top of the world. Between two iconic performances - the spine tingling and intimate Unplugged the helle-s raising Live and Loud in Seattle - the band left their mark on the world forever. Our fourth limited release for 2023, some 30 years later, is inspired by this unforgettable time in music, with the can paying homage to the sonic blue and red tortoise shell of Cobain's Sky-Stang guitar. Much like the music, this Helles Lager is a beer in its most authentic form. Clean on the nose with a touch of ester from the Munich yeast. The malt bill provides a full bodied, pale liquid with touch of sweetness, while German noble hops deliver a hint of spice and low bitterness for ultimate drinkability.

Mountain Goat Pale Ale Can

A thirst-quencher, whatever the weather. This Pale Ale is an award winning American inspired, hop-driven beer. Expect well-balanced aromas of pine, stone fruit and citrus, backed up by blended malts for a clean, dry flavour.

Mountain Goat Fancy Pants Amber Ale

Produced only in small batch quantities, revered Melburnian craft brewers Mountain Goat have released their popular Fancy Pants Amber Ale in cans. This unique brew has been nearly 20 years in the making after the guys at Mountain Goat had their beer epiphany moment back in the early 1990s. They discovered that beer doesn't have to be bland or at the opposite end, completely overpowering. In fact you could make a wonderfully drinkable brew that was a tad 'fancy'. They achieve this with the blending of Munich, Crystal and Roasted malt with the perfect amount of Cascade and Galaxy hops that delivers an amber colour, a soft sweet palate that is kept in check by the spicy, floral and fruity aspects of the quality hops.
