Wines from Châteauneuf-du-Pape from the acclaimed 2007 vintage are wines to be treasured, lauded and above all else enjoyed. Truly delightful wines of true regional character and quiet concentration. The Château Mont-Redon is a prime example with an abundance of cherry, mineral and wild pastures on the nose and wonderfully refined slatey type flavours with more than enough flesh on its bones. This single vineyard, award-winning Levantine Hill Melissas Paddock Syrah, has its own inimitable characteristics of the unique site and inherent signature expression. It features a complex nose, featuring blackberry, liquorice, tar, spice and cherry oak. The resounding sophisticated palate features fine tannins leading to a long finish. There is a delicate nervy balance between savouriness and sweet fruit with an emphasis on balance and length for a resounding echo of flavour.

An adventurous wine of exceptional quality. Its grapes are grown on the steepest, highest slopes of the vineyards in Apalta, Colchagua Valley. Delivering more colour, tannins, and flavours, making Montes Folly richly complex and powerful.

The Bin 389 style evolved as a result of experiments, by Max Schubert, in the 1950s to develop a highly individual wine using a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz with compatible oak treatment. Bin 389 combines the elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon with the richness of Shiraz and demonstrates the traditional Penfolds' trademark - balance between fruit and oak, giving the wine character and longevity.

The Bullnose Syrah from Te Mata is one of New Zealand's original Syrah wines, having been made since 1992. Vineyard partners, Michael Morris and Peter Cowley - both car enthusiasts - named the wine after the pre-1928 Morris Cowley car, nicknamed Bullnose due to its distinctive radiator. The Bullnose is a single vineyard wine from Hawke's Bay that shows characters that are aromatic, savoury, and elegant. It's an expression of syrah which, when well stored, develops and intensifies in bottle with medium term cellaring.

One of Victoria's true heritage wines, Yarra Yering Dry Red No.1 is primarily a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Malbec and a touch of Petit Verdot. Planted on a historic Yarra Valley site by the late Dr Bailey Carrodus, this wine is full of complex aromas of plum and berry which is followed by rich fruits with an oak and cedar slant. A wine drinking well now and value for the true wine lover.

Château Latour à is an unclassified producer yet amongst the great crus of the Pomerol appellation. The excellent 1982 vintage has produced a Latour à for the ages. Still retaining structure in its maturity, the nose exerts dark fruits, herbs and subtle spice leading to the elegantly balanced palate.
