Grown on an elevated, rocky site west of the township of Auburn, our single-vineyard pinot gris was hand-harvested at the perfect point of ripeness to create a brilliantly fresh style of wine. Our commitment to hand-picked fruit is vital in achieving pure colour and appealing grape character in the finished wine. In fact, we already began the process back in the vineyard by thinning 30% of the crop to enhance flavour intensity. Once we are in the winery, gentle handling and minimal interference and inputs are key to protecting the delicate purity of our pinot gris fruit and attaining the bright wine style we love. Colour - Golden straw with Light Green Tones. Bouquet & Palate - This wine commenced with a restrained floral perfumed nose of lemon blossom aromas. It has now started to emerge from its initial straight jacketed steely tightness, opening up with glorious ripe pear and lemon flavours with hints of ripe rock melon that linger on the palate with a long, dry & refreshing finish.

Eden Valley rieslings tend to be a little more delicate and floral compared to the more zingy style founc in Clare Valley. This Riesling is no exception - bursting with mandarin, lemon, lime lychee, white flower floral and fennel flavours making this Riesling an absolutely perfect accompaniment to shellfish and spicy Asian dishes.

The linear palate reveals delectable notes of grapefruit, quince and lemongrass. Light bodied and elegant, with good line and length, it is delicately graceful, maintaining a lively structure leaving you wanting more.
