Ghost Rock Estate Chardonnay
Glaetzer-Dixon überblanc Riesling
The überblanc Riesling is attributed to a über 2001 vintage, winemaker Nick Glaetzer experienced in the Pflaz region of Germany, learning first hand some of the award winning techniques used by their winemakers. Tasmanian grapes sourced for the wine display the core elements, highly regarded by the Pflaz winemakers for or elegantly structured and balanced Riesling. Delicate lime zest and floral aromas fill the glass. Further citrus flavours develop on the fresh mineral structure, enhanced by the juicy fruit flavours.
Frogmore Creek FGR Riesling
F.G.R. Stands for Forty Grams Residual. Made in an homage to the Germanic Kabinett style, it is loaded with forward fruit, and plenty of luscious residual sugar, but enough fine acid carries the palate to a crisp dry finish.
Chatto Mania Chardonnay
The subtlety of fragrant fruit and floral nuance is very enticing. The wine is long, fine and with beautifully integrated fruit, oak characters and natural acidity. White flowers with stone-fruits, citrus and minerality are evenly distributed along a very fine but intensely flavoured palate.
Holm Oak Riesling
This Riesling is a fine and delicate wine with lovely aromatics and a minerally palate. The nose displays aromas of lime leaf and jasmine with some spiced apple characters, whilst the palate shows mineral characteristics with fantastic fruit purity and steely acidity.
K1 SAUVIGNON BLANC
The nose lifts effortlessly from the glass filling the senses with vibrant and intense aromas of passionfruit, elderflower, citrus, white peach and just a hit of fresh nettle. PALATE: The palate is super refreshing, crisp and clean, with a trace of florals accompanying passion fruit, citrus and exotic tropical fruits leadig to a dry lingering finish. Crisp and dry, this wine is an idealpartner to seafood and less spicy Asian dishes. Try with freshly shucked oysters.
Coldstream Hills Tasmania Pinot Gris
Coldstream Hills was established in 1985 by James and Suzanne Halliday and has since grown to become one of Australia's leading and most awarded small wineries. With it's fruit sourced from cool climate Tasmanian vineyards, the wine has notes of fragrant apple blossom with ripe fruits of yellow peach and mandarin, augmented with hints of five spice. The palate is textural and generous in style, delivering ripe stone fruit and cumquat flavours held in balance by fine phenolics due to the seasoned oak maturation, that lengthen and drive the palate.
Tamar Ridge Riesling
Grown in the West Tamar region of Tasmania this Riesling captures the crisp delicate characters of its cool-climate origins with perfumed floral aromas and intense pure flavours of lime and spice.
