Herradura was the world's first distillery to introduce Reposado or rested tequila when introduced in 1974 and has been producing this excellent style ever since. Aged in American oak barrels for 11 months, giving the tequila a beautiful balance of cooked agave, sweet oaky vanilla & cinnamon.

In 1999, Guillermo Erickson Sauza decided to bring back the old Sauza family distillery to life. Today he produces Tequila Fortaleza there using 100% stone-milled agave, entirely produced on the estate which lies right in the middle of the town of Tequila. Fortaleza Reposado Tequila is rested for 8 months. It has an amazingly soft texture with a vegetal sweetness balanced against soft and sweet vanilla notes from the ex-bourbon barrels in which it is rested.

Casamigos Reposado Tequila, aged for 7 months, is soft, slightly oaky with hints of caramel and cocoa. It has a silky texture with a medium to long smooth finish.

Tasting note: This deep gold coloured Anejo conjures frail aromas of incense and potpourri alongside menthol tobacco and lavender honey. Brief air contact reduces the bouquet to oak shavings. The bottle and packaging are a commissioned piece from Mark Smith, Vice President of Innovation Special Projects at Nike, while the name “Cincoro” comes from a blending of two Spanish words, “cinco” and “oro.” The portmanteau pays homage to the five founding partners and their pursuit to create the gold standard in Tequila. This reposado is very approachable, sweet and a highly sippable Tequila A light gold in colour, aromas of cooked Agave, with hints of vanilla, baking spices and toasted creme brûlée. The palate is incredibly smooth, slightly sweet with notes of light oak, cooked agave, caramelized vanilla and white chocolate. The finish is incredibly long with cooked agave, baking spices and vanilla prominent.

Don Fulano tequilas are made from agaves grown by fifth generation agave growers in the Jalisco highlands of Mexico. They are then distilled in the valley town of Tequila and aged masterfully. This tequila displays notes of caramelised peach, dark chocolate and nutmeg.
