Super Nikka is a blended whisky born in 1962. Classic style of blended whisky with gentle peatiness and hints of vanilla and sherry. These beautiful flavours are rounded and well-balanced with a smooth texture and mellow mouthfeel.

The Hatozaki Lighthouse, the oldest stone lighthouse in Japan, has been a guide for sailors navigating the turbulent waters before the port of Akashi since 1620. They chose this lighthouse, which stands so close to their distillery, as the perfect icon to represent their whisky. Made in the Kaikyō distillery in Akashi-city, Hyogo, Japan. This whisky is aged in a combination of ex bourbon casks, ex sherry cask,s and Japanese Mizunara casks from the Hokkaido and Tohuku forests. It carries a rich profile of cereals and dried fruit, with accents of smoke and honey on the finish. Composed of 100% malt whiskies and blended from 5 to 6-year-old single malt, it is only produced in small batches of less than 20 casks. Round, generous and unpeated. The sweet taste of malted cereals and dried fruit are uplifted by a light smoky undertone and an aromatic honey finish on the palate.

The The Hakushu Single Malt Japanese Whisky - Distiller’s Reserve was produced with both heavily-peated and lightly-peated malts for a deep and complex whisky. On the nose there are hits of grassy notes, pine, and peppermint. It is rounded out with cucumber and melon. The palate has pops of citrus zest and mint. The whisky finishes long and smoky.

Mars Shinshu was founded in 1949 but didn’t start making whisky until their distillery was nestled high in the Japanese Alps in 1985. This is a limited release Mars Iwai Tradition blended whisky released in 2021 that has spent extra time maturing in Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks which give a delicious sweetness to the whisky. Pedro Ximenez is a Spanish white grape variety, and this sherry is well known for its intense sweetness as a dessert-style sherry. Showing lovely amber colour with sweet notes such as brown sugar, maple syrup on the nose. It has a smooth mouthfeel and rich texture with sweet honey burned sugar cane and sweet peat on the palate. A distinctive rich full body finishes with cacao and a hint of bitter chocolate. Complex and well-balanced whisky.

In the Miyata village on Kuyshu Island is the Shinshu distillery (aka "Mars"), founded in 1985 by Hombo Shuzo. Shinshu’s whisky is distilled only during the island's harsh winters. In operation from 1985-1992 and then 2011 to present, this is actually Shuzo's third domestic distillery. The previous have been the Yamanashi Distillery (1960-1969) and the Mars Kagoshima Distillery (1978-1984).
