Barossa Wine Company Gravel Track Shiraz

The Barossa Valley Wine Company has one singular focus. To hand craft the very best expressions of the region. From our spiritual home the gnarled old Farms vineyard in the renowned the Barossa Valley they are committed to continuing to build on the Barossas rich history and heritage. Gravel Track pays tribute to the long gravel and limestone track that winds its way through our historic 60-year-old Farms vineyard. Vibrant plum and blackberry characters on the nose with hints of chocolate and earthiness flow through to a rich, bold palate packed with dark fruit flavours. Juicy and fruit driven, powerful yet elegant and with hints of black pepper spice, the wine is matured in a combination of French and American oak for twelve months.

Grant Burge Miamba Shiraz

Peter Lehmann 'Pastor's Son' Barossa Shiraz

The late, great Peter Lehmann was a fifth generation Barossa winemaker and a legend in his own lifetime. The son of a Lutheran preacher, he became a champion of small independent grape growers in the region, buying their grapes through the tough days of the 1970s when the big wineries reneged on their contracts. This earned Peter the title ‘Baron of the Barossa’. Those growers never forgot his generosity and always stayed loyal. With a fabulous wine range including the world class Stonewell, no one did more to elevate the Barossa to cult status than Peter. His generous spirit lives on in this hearty, big spice Shiraz. Rich, chocolatey, with a peppery vanilla edge, it’s supreme with rare beef, roast lamb or veggie casserole with dumplings.

Langmeil The Long Mile Shiraz

Night Guard Barossa Shiraz

"The Barossa is known for its diurnal temperatures - warm days and cool nights - which help to ripen grapes during the day, while locking in the flavour throughout the cool nights. It is these cool nights that act like a guard, protecting and locking in the delicious juicy flavour of a Barossa Shiraz that we all know and love. This Shiraz is the perfect example of a rich barossa shiraz providing you with a lifted plum and blackberry aromas and flavours, followed by soft subtle oak and a fine tannin finish."

Earthworks Shiraz

This is a wine that stays true to more traditional methods in an effort to preserve the purity and flavour of the Barossa Valley. If youre looking for a rich and juicy Shiraz, this may just become a favourite.

Mountadam Five Fifty Barossa Shiraz

Located in the High Eden sub-region of the Barossa, Mountadam was originally established in 1972 by the late David Wynn for his winemaking son Adam. Since 2005, it has returned to being a family owned and run winery, with David and Jenni Brown overseeing its success. With Phil Lehmann, the son of Peter Lehmann, as chief winemaker, they are going from strength-to-strength. High Eden’s chilly heights lead to harvests up to a month later than those in neighbouring Eden Valley. The result is gorgeous Shiraz like this, full of blue fruit and peppery acidity.
