It’s this trade-off of acid for tannin that makes pinot noir so food friendly. This wine is principally from the Rocky Point Vineyard, which is home to some of the steepest blocks in Central Otago. Elegant vines grow on top of an underlay of schist rock providing high mineraltity and spice to the grapes whilst above the surface we see an abundance of wild thyme.
