The slopes of the Vaudésir valley are steep and allow the grapes to express refined minerality. Appearance: Yellow with green glints. MATTHIASSON Linda Vista Chardonnay, Napa Valley Made from certified organic vines that grow on the Mathiasson estate in Napa, this wine pairs beautifully with lighter summer fare. Medium acidity is balanced by pleasant fleshiness, finishing very clean with a hint of minerality. A diversity of ripeness is created by using the traditional method of harvesting the fruit a number of different times during the ripening period, achieving complexity, completeness, and balance. The earlier harvests contribute acidity and minerality, and the later harvests contribute flesh and richness..

The wine expresses characters of lemon curd, glazed apricot Danish, ginger snap and orange blossom team with savoury underlying buckwheat, lanolin and toasty char complexity. These work in concert with a tactile calcareous interplay underpinning a silky pear-like texture. A lingering line of acidity provides the backbone but allows for the richness, weight and flavour, directing to a resounding and expansive finish. where body, flavour & palate weight co-exist with structure, texture and restrained acidity. Complex fruit characters of white nectarine, saffron, Pink Lady apple, chamomile flower, cashews and Leatherwood honey work in concert with a tactile interplay of chalk, silkiness and Beurre Bosc pear-like texture. Subtle acidity provides the backbone conveying the fruit and weight to a resounding finish.

Bright & complex nose of blossom, stonefruit, candied figs & lemongrass with subtle background oak. Generosity of stonefruits flavours give fruit volume & weight to the palate.
