Bouchard Pere & Fils Ancienne Cuvee Carnot 1er cru
In 1775, Bouchard purchased 3.76 hectares of Volnay Caillerets Premier Cru from the Carnot family. It was the first vineyard they purchased and the label has "Ancienne Cuvée Carnot" written on it in memory of the family that owned the land before them. Medium bodied, this always elegant, persistent and fragrant wine is the epitome of Volnay and usually looks at its best with about ten years cellaring.

An enticing wine that will awaken your senses from the very first encounter. Leather, boysenberry and sweet spices combine. The supple palate with its transparent flavours of red fruit and earthy textures leads to a finish that is both balanced and intriguing.

This village Vosne-Romanée shows all the typicity expected of its commune with beautiful ripe cherry strawberry perfume, lovely weight and mouth-feel and abundant fine discrete tannins. Matured in 30% to 40% new French oak barrels, it has the concentration and structure to cellar gracefully for many years.

Domaine de Marcoux Châteauneuf du Pape Rouge Vieilles Vignes
“The 2021 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes is showing beautifully, displaying lively crushed violet, cranberry, red cherry, licorice and dried herb aromas. Full-bodied, elegant and fitted with velvety tannins, it is well-balanced by fresh acidity, closing with a long-lasting finish. As usual, it's a blend of very old vines from two parcels in Charbonnières and Les Esquirons. Only 4,000 bottles produced.” 93-95 points Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous
