The juicy grapes used to produce Best Blocks Cabernet Sauvignon were harvested, and crushed into stainless steel fermenters. The juice obtained was pumped over and left on skins. The wine begins with concentrated cassis and redcurrant on the nose with hints of cedar and spice to give this classic red an imposing presence which continues on the palate with dense brooding flavours and French oak complexity.

Gentle extraction is achieved by the draining of wine from the skins and returning back over.
