De Iuliis Hunter Valley Verdelho is full of rich tropical fruit characters, including pineapple, passionfruit and rockmelon. A vibrant acid backbone complement the fruit nicely to produce an undervalued food-style wine.

A wine style that is rich and complex by nature and specifically crafted to capture the quintessential fruit and oak qualities of the wine. Yellow straw in color, this Cuvée is supple and light displaying notes of tropical fruits, rock melon, mango and pineapple as well as a crisp citrus character with a hint of oak. A simply outstanding chardonnay.

This is a superb example of the famous Hunter Semillon. Alternate in style and fuller in flavour, with tropical, grassy, lifted characters and a zesty palate. 'Today's selections are all comparatively low in alcohol - light bodied but tasty wines delivering great drinking pleasure. Semillon seems a natural starting point as, along with prosecco and riesling, the variety develops ripe flavours before grape sugar levels (and hence alcohol levels) climb too high. The warm Hunter region excels at the style but sometimes requires cellaring to soften the austere acids. Sitting atop a high hill in the heart of the Hunter Valley, Bimbadgen have been producing quality wines like their Verdelho since 1968. Pineapple and tropical fruits arise on the nose followed by a citrus and troplical palate with lovelly herbal notes on the finish.

The 2019 Silkman Estate Semillon is clean fresh and modern. The nose is full of lemon, pink grapefruit and fresh cut hay. The palate reflects the nose with citrus and a touch of salinity. This wine will age well and pairs perfectly with a roast chicken.
