Stephane Aviron Beaujolais
Black cherry and bright raspberry with a hit of heady, whole peppercorn spice, touch of cola and lovely burst of five spice that drives the inviting nose home. Super crunchy, raspberry fruit layered in with fine slippery tannins. Bursting with red fruit flavour, bright and bouncy. It's fine and tight with a lovely core of fruit that feels light and airy and at once concentrated and precise in its delivery. A fine Villages. BEAUNE & BEYOND.
Chateau DU Les Verillats
Chateau du Moulin-à-Vent dates back to 1732 and gave its name to the appellation when it was created in 1936. The estate has 37 hectares of vines across the appellation’s finest terroirs on mostly granitic soils rich in iron oxide, copper and manganese. Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Crau
For this Grenache blend, grapes are hand-picked, with double sorting at the vine, followed by a third sorting at the winery. Gentle crushing and selective destemming, followed by 25-40 days' traditional fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel and wooden vats. Pneumatic pressing, then systematic malolactic fermentation. A classic red Châteauneuf-du-Pape by Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe, very fine and elegant. The best vintages will age for 25 years and more.
Domaine De Colonat Les Charmes Morgon
Dark, complex and vibrant! This is a cracking example of Morgon Beaujolais, just the second time that a Beaujolais has been included in Decanter's 'Best in Show' selection. This is a complete world-beater of "astonishing charm". A complex array of black, red and purple fruits, velvet-like tannins, with a fleshy, fullness to the palate. This is a deeply elegant wine but not one without power. The weight of this wine is dictated by a dense core of blackberry, cherry and blueberry whilst the natural acid and silky tannins build a gorgeous texture and build to phenomenally long finish. This is a pristine wine, aged completely in concrete with zero reduction, it's all about the purity of the fruit that comes off the world-famous vineyards of Morgon.

Alex’s early exposure to winemaking, combined with his studies in agriculture and enology, laid the foundation for his own winemaking style. With a focus on sustainable viticulture and minimal manipulation in the cellar, Alex’s wines are a true reflection of his respect for tradition and his vision for the future of Beaujolais. Vineyard | The Lieu-Dit Chavannes: The vineyards for the Alex Foillard Brouilly Beaujolais are located in the north-facing lieu-dit Chavannes, in the heart of the Brouilly appellation. The soils here are a combination of granite and schist, with a thin layer of sandy soils on top, which provide excellent drainage and contribute to the wine's distinct minerality. The vines, which are 50 years old, benefit from the cool northern exposure, which helps preserve the bright acidity and fresh fruit character that define Brouilly wines. Alex’s approach to viticulture is rooted in organic principles, ensuring that the vineyards are healthy and sustainable for future generations. This commitment to the land results in wines that are both expressive and balanced, with a clear sense of place.
