DOMAINE JEROME GALEYRAND Poirossot, Bourgogne Aligoté Cheesemaker turned winemaker hailing from the Loire, Jérôme Galeyrand moved to Burgundy to take up winemaking studies. Balanced, precise, refined and elegant, Bourgogne Aligoté Le Poirossot derives from a hillside site in Rully from granite laden soils. Bright yellow with a light touch of green in colour this is a medium to full-bodied wine. Enjoy crystalline and fruity notes, with a fine persistence, concluding with a chalky finish. As with all Jérôme Galeyrand, this is certified organic and made with adherence to biodynamic principles.

As ever a distinguished wine, with a particular texture engendered by its citrussy acidity: the heavy lifting is provided by the immaculate white peach and pink grapefruit of a palate that is intense yet delicate, delicacy stemming from the way the wine flows through the mouthfeel and long finish.
