This wine is named after the myriad of paths, tracks and trails that dominate the famous Morialta Conservation Park that are lovingly explored by its visitors.The Adelaide Hills wine region is located nearby and is equally famous for its ability to produce some of Australias best loved wines. Our winemakers explored many grape trails across the Hills to track down the best parcels of fruit to go into this wine.

Named in honour of the much cherished winter rains which fall like pennies from heaven, replenishing our soils and allowing the vines to flourish during the growing season.Lively and aromatic with notes of fresh-cut grass, green pear, and nettles. On the palate there is intense flavor, with fresh, limey fruit, mouthwatering acidity, and remarkable purity. It is bone dry and unoaked to maintain freshness.

Honeydew and brown lime flavours intertwine with a smooth and creamy mid palate. Fine natural acidity give great length and balances the textural oak characters.

The palate has a soft, yet delicate structure with typical varietal flavours of nashi pear and lychee. The wine has a delightful creaminess but finishes dry with beautifully balanced acidity

A fantastic single vineyard Chardonnay from the cool climate region of Adelaide Hills. This Chardonnay showcases great stone fruit characters, along with plenty of rock melon and a subtle creamy oak finish.

Although a great food wine, especially seafood, at Zonte’s Footstep, we drink most of the Excalibur well-chilled, on a sunny afternoon with friends and family... usually followed by a second glass!

Golden yellow straw colour, with yellow hue, the wine displays honeysuckle, stone fruit, apple blossom and spice on the nose with a palate loaded with plush clingstone peach, baked apple, and fig up front. These primary characters merge with deeper notes of creamy cashew, oatmeal, pie crust and rich honey all entwined on a line of lemon acidity, culminating with a dry finish of tangerine pithy appeal.
