Penfolds Max's Chardonnay

Penfolds Maxs Chardonnay is a tribute to former Chief Winemaker Max Schubert, a legend in Penfolds history. Pale straw in colour with green hues, this wine has a very nice textural and creamy palate with a soft line of acid fading ever so slowly to a distant palate horizon.

Mount Langi Ghiran Grampians Shiraz

ATR Hard Hill Road Petit Syrah

Also known as Durif, these thick-skinned black grapes produce majestic wines of depth and character. With his many years of experience with this variety, Adam is one of the few winemakers who dare to plant it in the cooler climate. Grown on our Hard Hill Road vineyard in Great Western, these Petite Sirah grapes were carefully fermented in small tanks and barrels where, apart from a daily hand-plunge, they received very little intervention. After about three weeks on skins, the wine was gently pressed before being aged in 500L American puncheons for 18 months. Warm, generous and aromatic. Cassis, blueberries, anise, violets and rose petals; with elegant tannins providing a remarkably long and lively finish. Already showing a wonderfully gregarious personality, this Petite Sirah will evolve and gain further complexity and elegance over decades in the cellar.

ATR Hard Hill Road Close-Planted Shiraz

Grown in our close-planted blocks our Hard Hill Road vineyard in Great Western, Our Close-Planted Shiraz is of an intensity and denseness unique in the Grampians region. These Shiraz grapes were vinified in small batches and fermented with a good portion of whole berries and whole bunches. We hand-plunged the fermentations twice per day, and once the fermentation was complete the wine sat on its skins for another month or so before pressing. The wine then rested in French and American 500L puncheons for up to 18 months. Intense blackberry, dark chocolate, black pepper and liquorice, followed by tar, gun smoke and cured meats, with a long and rich finish. While already presenting a seamless balance of fruit depth and tannin, it will continue to entwine and gain further complexity with decades of cellar time.

Mount Langi Ghiran Cliff Edge Shiraz

The Cliff Edge Shiraz by Mount Langi Ghiran is now reaping the rewards of vine age. Generally a younger vine Shiraz as compared to the Langi Shiraz, these vines are now starting to come into their own. Attractive spearmint and blackberry flavours are complimented by exceptional balance of acid and oak. A great Grampians bargain.

ATR Hard Hill Road Nebbiolo

Our Nebbiolo is focused and complex with a great depth and tight structure. Flavours of cherries and plums, cedar, spices, hints of mushrooms, with spicy, chocolate, leathery and earthy undertones. The concentrated flavours are matched by dense, but supple tannins that lead into a wonderfully long, vibrant finish.

One of their icon wines, the 'Traditionale' Riesling manages to capture the essence of Clare Valley year after year.

Forester Estate Chardonnay

Forester Estate Chardonnay is a refreshing fruit-driven wine. Pale lemon green in colour with intense roasted nuts, honey, ripe peach and a hint of smoky oak with lingering MLF on the nose. It is medium body with similar profile from the nose. Classic acidity structures with a toasty yet deliciously creamy finish.

Clonakilla Riesling

Clonakilla Riesling is an unsung hero of Tim Kirk's stable of beautiful wines. Herbal with white flowers aromas with citrus and stone fruit bouquet, it has a clean, ripe fruit and zesty finish.

Marc Brédif Vouvray
