Named after the famed Johann Gramp's grandson, Hugo, this is the very best Cabernet Sauvignon in the stable. From the very best sites in the region of Coonawarra, this wine shows classic regional mint and blackcurrant on the nose with a silky supple palate, elegant fruit characters, toasty oak and long, fine tannins.

The Brand's Laira Blockers Cabernet is a Coonawarra red with classic varietal definition. The nose shows cedar, red berry and tobacco notes. The palate is rich, long and beautifully texturally structured. A multi-award winner, the Blockers can be enjoyed now or cellared in the medium term.

Wynns Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon is the beacon of quality that all Australian Cabernet Sauvignon is compared to. Coming off the iconic red soils of Coonawarra, Wynns Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon is classic elegance. Chief winemaker, Sue Hodder, is able to craft a wine brimming with aromas of blackcurrant and plum that combine with spicy minty notes. The palate is well structured, long and fine. Hidden Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon is rich and smooth with aromas of dark cherry and blackcurrant that are balanced by cedar oak notes. These flavours are carried through to the palate leaving long tannins and a generous finish.

Rufus was a beloved Hereford bull from the Reschke stud and was treated like one of the family. The same soils that Rufus presided now produce some of the best Cabernet Sauvignon in the country. This elegant, fruit driven wine that will age beautifully if cellared with care. Estate grown and low cropping created a Cabernet with a perfectly balanced palate of intense blackcurrant and cassis with hints of chocolate and eucalypt and a hint of cedary oak. Supported by silky tannins and balanced acidity, this wine is simply amazing value.

The Cigar the name coined by Coonawarra Vignerons to describe the unique cigar-shaped strip of rich red terra rossa soil. This wine is from the famous strip, the bouquet shows bright cherry, chocolate and musk fruit aromas supported by savoury cedar oak. The palate is vibrant with blueberries and rhubarb balanced by choc-mint with the tannins having mouth-filling praline texture. The finish is long and lingering.
