Devil’s Lair Cabernet Sauvignon is complex and layered, characteristic Margaret River lively aromas, fine tannins and subtle oak characteristics. The Devil’s Lair Cabernet shows primary blackberry fruit aromas with a deep core of dark cassis, ironstone minerality and abundant yet supple tannins. The fruit is the work of Viticulturist Simon Robertson who has guided growing at Devil’s Lair vineyards for more than 20 years. The wine spends more than a year on 100% French oak both old and new.

Voyager Estate Shiraz is deep red in colour with an explosive nose of oak blackberries and spice that is succeeded by a rich flavoursome palate and some chewy tannins. Will improve wonderfully with time.

Woodlands Cabernet Merlot is one of the regions best examples. The Watson brothers are the custodians of a family heritage in Margaret River that continues to this day. The Cabernet Merlot has attractive and complex aromas of dark berry and plum supported by well integrated vanillin oak. Kleopatra is the first wine of this region obtained from the Cabernet Franc grape variety from Bovin own vineyards. Characterized by a ruby red color with a smell of pomegranates, cranberries and other red fruits rich in vitamin C. It has well balanced taste and smell.

The fruit was harvested in Mid-April when the skin tannins are ripe and the flavours are bold. The whole berries add some spice and complexity to the wine. Aromas of glazed plums, cloves and cracked peppercorns give way to a rich palate with hints of citrus blossom, oyster shell and vanilla pod compliment a long and complex finish, further exhibiting a bright fruit core and pure longevity of pristine tannin. Our Shiraz seems to enjoy relatively cool ferments, plenty of aeration and gentle treatment. The wine is gently pressed of skins, near dryness, based on taste.The bubbly purple wine finishes its fermentation in the presence of mainly French oak, with the smallest portion of American oak. The wine is racked when it has finished its malolactic fermentation, and then once or twice more over the season based on its individual requirements.
