Eva Fricke Rheingau Riesling Trocken
Château Tanunda Terroirs of the Barossa 'Eden Valley' Shiraz
The combined effects of site soil and climate on the vine. The Barossa has some very distinct sub-regions which exhibit their own unique influence on the wine. A journey through the Terroirs is a lesson in the Barossas versatility. We have chosen Eden Valley to highlight its rich, darker flavours unique to this high altitude, cooler climate and rocky, clay loam soils.
Pooley Riesling
The alcohol levels are slightly higher than most years this leads to a softness in the body and finish of the wine. Aromas of lime zest, white jasmine and mandarin. The palate is complex with lemon juice, lime zest & a mineral finish.
Keller Limestone Riesling
The fruit for this wine is sourced from Kellers GG (Grosses Gewächs, or Grand Cru) vineyard. Picked early, this wine comes from green harvested fruit. The level of residual sugar is elevated here, but the acidity needs and, demands it. The chalky, powdery limestone minerality, in sync with the acidity, creates a profound and memorable palate experience and a stage for a mouthwatering pop, pop, pop of green apple and citrus. Moreish isnt the word.
Keller Trocken Riesling
Call it what you will: an introductory, entry-level wine. This Riesling Trocken is the default go-to wine in the Keller portfolio. Purity, presence and priceit ticks all the boxes. Pear in abundance, citrus, apple blossom and chalky limestone makes this a very impressive introduction to Keller. With a fruit palate that never gets tropical or flat, Klaus-Peter shows us his true talent in this wine.

Dr Loosen Wehlener Sonnenuhr Kabinett Riesling
Almond and vanilla cream are co-mingled with melon and apple on a palate of satiny, lees-enhanced richness and vivid buoyancy. This manages to soothe and refresh in an unbeatable if not inimitable 2008 way, with brown spices and crushed stone adding complexity to its lingering finish.
Glaetzer-Dixon überblanc Riesling
The überblanc Riesling is attributed to a über 2001 vintage, winemaker Nick Glaetzer experienced in the Pflaz region of Germany, learning first hand some of the award winning techniques used by their winemakers. Tasmanian grapes sourced for the wine display the core elements, highly regarded by the Pflaz winemakers for or elegantly structured and balanced Riesling. Delicate lime zest and floral aromas fill the glass. Further citrus flavours develop on the fresh mineral structure, enhanced by the juicy fruit flavours.
