The Bethany Cabernet Merlot from the Schrapel family's Bethany winery exhibits herbal blackberry and cherry flavours with subtle oak in the background. Drinking well now, but also can handle a little bit of medium term cellaring to really coax those soft, ripe tannins to infuse beautifully with its primary fruit.

A concentrated wine with the expected regional characteristics of mint leaves and ripe dark forest berries on the nose. Full and rich in the mouth. Full bodied with a saturation of black and blue toned berries. Tannins are firm and fine grained with alcohol and acid nicely integrated into the structure of the wine. Complex flavours of preserved dark fruits overlaid with a suggestion of marzipan. A fresh, tight finish with hints of eucalyptus.

This Cabernet Sauvignon offers dark fruits,licorice and cassis notes with hints of spice and cedary oak on thenose. The palate is rich with good structure and fine tannins togive length and power while finishing soft and full of flavour.

2017 Clifton Estate Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon, Deep red with hints of garnet at the edge of the glass. Blackcurrant and liquorice fruit paired with subtle leaf and savoury spice on the nose. The palate is ripe and rich with balanced fruit and oak. Varietal flavours of cassis, nutmeg and plum lead to fine grained, savoury tannins.

The deep purple colour is accentuated by vibrant red hues. This Cabernet Sauvignon is complex, with vibrant flavours of forest berries and plums with underlying savoury notes of spice French oak. The ripe berry characters flow smoothly onto the palate, combining with spices and vanilla oak and soft chewy tannins.

The Barossa we love today was heavily influenced by the Barossa Deutsche. Their legacy can still be clearly seen in the patchwork of vineyards across the Valley floor today.Using only fruit from a friends old vines, the 2017 Vintage was matured for 2years in a blend of French and American oak. Black Cherries are apparent on the nose, backed-up on the palate by cassis and spice-laden chocolate. Blue Rock Wines 2015 Eden Valley Cabernet SauvignonThe cool hills of our Eden Valley vineyard has produced a Cabernet Sauvignon of intense colour and rich flavour. This is an Australian Cabernet in a Bordeaux Style (Fruit driven with softer tannins). It has characteristic dark fruits, cassis and mocca chocolate aromas and flavours. The wine is further complexed by smoky, toasty and vanilla characters introduced by 24 months of ageing in American and French Oak. This wine will cellar well during which time the tannins will soften even further and developed fruit characters of chocolate and coffee will become more apparent.
