YARRA YERING No.1 Dry White, Yarra Valley The fruit for the Yarra Yering Dry White No. 1 was sourced from a dry grown block south of Underhill Vineyard, slightly higher in elevation. A Bordeaux inspired white blend of Semillon and Chardonnay. A bright and refreshing young wine on a summer’s day, all zingy and zesty. The real beauty here will come from some cellar maturation. The magic of Semillon will shape this with time into a toasty and deeply layered mature wine. Rewarding careful cellaring for up to 10 years.

Many feel that the 2021 vintage in the Yarra Valley was one of the best in recent memory, and with wines like this delicious Chardonnay it's easy to see why.Bright mid yellow. Oyster shell and wet rock over white peach and grapefruit. Vibrant and intense with a crisp citrus and stonefruit core, supported by subtle toasty oak. Shows latent development potential with nutty complexity and attractive minerality.

Seville Estate are firmly entrenched in Yarra Valley history and folklore after being one of the handful of wineries who, in the 1970s, re-established the Yarra Valley's reputation back to its former glory it enjoyed back in the 19th century. 40 years later and the story is no different at Seville Estate as they continue to produce award winning, terroir driven wines like this 2010 Chardonnay. Wholly barrel fermented and aged for 10 months in French oak, this great Yarra Chard shows great balance of fresh melon and citrus along with nutty oak.

Mac has a long history in Yarra Valley, starting out at Mount Mary before honing his skills in Burgundy and then returning back to the Yarra to start his own project. The Mac Forbes villages range is a reflection of the incredible diversity of one of Australia’s premier wine regions, the Yarra Valley. Each one shows the terroir of the site, while being made with restraint and traditional winemaking techniques.

The concept of blending complementary and compatible grape varieties to create a wine of amplified expression, structure, integration, and balance, harnessing each component’s individual strengths to fashion a wine greater than the sum of its manifold components, has long held a fascination for us as wine producers. Taking its lead from the estimable white blends of Bordeaux, built around a base of Semillon, we seek to find a vintage-specific synergy from a harmonious blend, resulting in a wine expression beyond the limited range afforded to the singular grape varieties when bottled in isolation.

A benchmark chardonnay from master wine-maker Rob Dolan out of the Yarra Valley. Packed full of grapefruit, white peach, cashew & nutmeg aromas brimming from the glass followed by a mineral consistency on the palate with extended length on the finish. Will easily cellar for another 5 years if you can wait that long.
