The wine aged for a year in a mix of large and small neutral oak barrels, finishing in a steel tank and a 600-litre Stockinger cask. This process ensures a bright, perfumed, and juicy wine, that's fruit-focused rather than shrouded in oak. On the palate, Tradition Red is soft, smooth, and effortlessly drinkable. The vineyard series range of wines by David Bicknell at Oakridge matches particular varieties of wines with specific sites, showcasing outstanding examples of single vineyard wines. Bannockburn Shiraz is a multi-layered wine showing blackberry, black cherry and spice on the nose which follow through to the palate. Soft tannins and medium length.

Fantastic violet hue; exquisite in the glass. Seriously well perfumed as the blueberries, blackcurrants and black plums harmonise with pepper and freshly ground herbs. The palate is juicy yet drying and prompts questioning of food or age - dependent on patience.
