This Blanc is a crisp straw colour, offering a romantic glow through it when held up to the sunshine or a dinner-time candle. The blend is made with majority Sauvignon Blanc grapes plus a handful of Chenin Blanc. The result is a classic dry white, with enough sweetness to give your taste buds something to dance around. The fruit comes from our Quindalup vineyard and is simply made in a stainless steel tank for freshness.

Aroma - Pungent Sauvignon Blanc characters of lychee, goosebery, passionfruit and lime along with roasted red capsicum and cut grass. Palate - Full and textured with balanced acidity. There are fruit characters of lychee, goosebery and lime with freshly cut grass. A light and fruit driven wine with great drinkability. Viticulture - Fruit is sourced from neighbouring properties in the northern Yallingup sub-region of Margaret River. Direct input from Forester’s viticulturist ensures well balanced canopies and crops are grown for the ripe style desired. The 2022 vintage was a mild year for white grapes in Margaret River, allowing plenty of time during January and February to ripen the fruit to our specification. Winemaking - Modern white winemaking techniques are employed in the production of the Lifestyle Sauvignon Blanc, with temperature control considered critical from the moment the fruit reaches the winery. The fruit is destemmed and crushed, then must chilled and pressed off skins in a very short space of time. The clarified juice is then racked to a fermentation tank. A range of specially selected yeasts are employed on different parcels of fruit and the resulting dry tanks of wine are carefully blended to maintain the Forester Style. Storage and Bottling - Bottled under screwcap into a burgundy bottle.

TASTING:Bursting with lively aromas of fresh-cut grass alongside crushed mint, gooseberry and white florals. The palate is fresh and lively, with notes of passionfruit, guava and tropical fruit. Its textural quality enhances the complexity and balance of the wine, ensuring it is thoroughly enjoyable. WINEMAKING:Grapes are harvested at night, crushed and pressed. Fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks to preserve the aromatics and flavours of this wine. The uniqueness of the Sav Blanc is the secret blend of other varietals giving brightness and complexity.

Tasting: This Chardonnay captures the very essence of what Margaret River Chardonnay is highly regarded for while simutaneaously including a modern palate. Great fruit expression with creamy stone fruit and fresh apple melded with bright citrus with a hint of tropical fruit. Rich mouthfeel and rounded palate siplaying hints of vanilla and butterscotch. Winemaking:Mostle machine harvested at night with some early morning handpicked fruit. Pressed into stainless steel tanks to settle, then racked to barrel while still hazy for wild ferment, allowing natural expression. Aged in a mix of old and new French barrels, with some lees stirring to build up texture and creaminess. Barrels carefully selected and blended to create the desired Chardonnay.

This wine displays lovely tropical and ripe stone fruit characters, which carry through to a textural and inviting palate.

Forester Estate Chardonnay is a refreshing fruit-driven wine. Pale lemon green in colour with intense roasted nuts, honey, ripe peach and a hint of smoky oak with lingering MLF on the nose. It is medium body with similar profile from the nose. Classic acidity structures with a toasty yet deliciously creamy finish.

Pale straw green in colour. Complex bouquet, nutty and lifted. The palate is fine and deep with a lengthy finish.

Pears, stone fruit and citrus gives way to a creamy, nutty middle and fresh acidity to close.

In Margaret River, considered one of Australia's premium chardonnay growing regions, Cape Mentelle creates wines of plush texture, depth and power, yet balanced with a fine frame of acidity. This Chardonnay is predominantly from our Chapman Brook Vineyard,established in 1994 in the cool southern half of Margaret River. The cooler climate captures the freshness and vibrancy of the variety. Yellow hay with a bright gold hue. A tropical nose of yellow peaches, melon and mandarin. Generous fruit intensity on the flowing palate, rich with rock melon, pistachio, lemon curd and orange blossom, lifting with a zesty, crisp acidity.
