New Coopers Australian Lager, refreshing from first drop to last. With a bright golden hue originating from Coopers’ own lager malt, the beer pours clean and clear. Our easy-drinking modern Australian Lager features stone fruit and citrus aromas, with a dash of late hopping adding subtle tropical notes. A slow fermentation using traditional lager yeast creates delicate floral notes on the palate. Finally, an authentic Australian Lager that pairs well with a barbie on a sunny day.

Heineken Silver, is a 99% carb free lager. It's unique recipe is brewed with pure malt and special A-Yeast, just like the original Heineken lager beer with a smooth taste. Heineken Silver is more than just a 4% lager. It is a fresh attitude towards beer. It is brewed with the same principles and passion for quality as Heineken Original, but to create the extra smooth taste of Heineken Silver, we use an ice-cold lagering process at -1 C.

Birra Moretti is a quality beer made in the traditional way. It is the result of a production process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. The best raw materials are used to make Birra Moretti, as well as a special blend of high quality hops that gives it a unique taste and fragrance, enhancing its perfectly balanced bitter taste. It is a bottom fermented beer with a golden colour. This colouring is a result of the type of malt used in brewing. It is not a strong beer and is therefore perfect for drinking at lunch, at dinner or for evenings out with friends.

The Brewery: Untouched 1960’s facade of the Public Bar and Brewery building has long been an icon on the streetscape of industrial Marrickville. Behind the exterior, the old yoghurt factory stood empty for over 20 years before Philter moved in. We’re proud to bring the building back to life and become part of the historical fabric of the suburb we know and love.
