This unique brew has been nearly 20 years in the making after the guys at Mountain Goat had their beer epiphany moment back in the early 1990s. They discovered that beer doesn't have to be bland or at the opposite end, completely overpowering. In fact you could make a wonderfully drinkable brew that was a tad 'fancy'. They achieve this with the blending of Munich, Crystal and Roasted malt with the perfect amount of Cascade and Galaxy hops that delivers an amber colour, a soft sweet palate that is kept in check by the spicy, floral and fruity aspects of the quality hops.

Hellyers Road Distillery, situated on the picturesque northern Tasmanian coast line, was established in 1997 and is Australia's largest distiller of Australian single malt whisky.
