The inspiration behind their creation was based on a refresh of the British icon as well as their classic American Pale Ale. Their goal was to "modernize" it a bit, both in terms of making the person more friendly and approachable, but also for the beer itself. They wanted to bring the OG APA they created and give it a modern twist with varied hops, as well as a nod to the fact that Batch was the first Brewery in Marrickville.
