The beach lies in a small valley at the mouth of little beach creek, which is usually blocked to form a small lagoon. the beach is 200 m long, faces east and is bordered by sloping granite points backed by cleared farmland. waves average over 1m and usually maintain a permanent rip against the southern rocks. there are occasionally good surf breaks over the rocks at each end of the beach. Sure hope there was a refreshing pale ale waiting for them at the other end. This bright pale ale bucks the trend of mega quantities of peach and passionfruit. Instead, the Strata and Amarillo aroma hops impart subtle notes that, if in a wine, might be expressed as barnyard. The dry finish results in a crisp, refreshing beer that is perfect for every summer day and not just 11 of them!
