Farinelli Pinot Grigio

Stretching along Italy's Adriatic coast, the Abruzzo boasts pretty coastal coves and dramatic landscapes of soaring mountain peaks, deep valleys and ancient castles. The region also offers a range of attractive wines - the creamy, plum filled Montepulciano based reds, citrusy Trebbianos and, most recently, fruity Pinot Grigios. This Pinot Grigio is a new addition to our Farinelli range. The estate proudly champions a traditional trellising system, 'pergola abruzzese', which ensures the grapes receive excellent exposure to the bright sunshine and so gain full ripeness. The result is a lovely balance of bright pear and apple fruit, teamed with minerally zip. It makes an ideal apéritif and goes well with fish, chicken and creamy pasta.

Santaro Prosecco

Prosecco is destined to be the smash hit of the summer with all of its beguiling aromatic flavours and touch of real fruit sweetness. A little bit of light fizz on the palate mixed with some pear and baked apple notes make Santaro Prosecco the perfect wine to enjoy on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Parcel selected fruit from high up in Victoria's home of Prosecco, the King Valley, add complexity and quality to this great value wine.

6ft6 Prosecco

Light, crisp and clean with citrusy lemon curd, pear and honey notes. 6ft6 Prosecco 2014 has a fresh, sherbety mouthfeel that's smooth and balanced. True to style, this is uncomplicated (yet highly drinkable) bubbles.

Saracosa Governo Rosso

We used to think that Sofia Barbanera's regular Saracosa was intense. And then she upped the ante, with this lavish, luscious, silky smooth Saracosa Governo. A limited-edition luxury version of her already indulgent ‘Super Tuscan’, Governo uses an ancient Tuscan method of allowing a portion of the grapes to air dry for a period of time, dialling the flavour concentration way up. Italy’s top critic, Luca Maroni, has long been a fan of the Saracosa reds, and this one is no exception – he has rated both the 2016 and the 2017 vintagehere a stunning 98 points! English wine writer Oz Clarke is also smitten by Governo’s many charms, calling it “indulgent and exotic”. One taste and we think you’ll fall in love with it too.

Pillastro Selezione d'Oro

Pillastro Nero

Pillastro Nero is a true ‘black red’ – from the ornate label to the deep, dark wine inside. Angelo Maci (winner of three Vinitaly Winemaker of the Year titles) crafted it from Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) and Primitivo (40%) grown on his 80-year-old alberello-trained bush vines in Puglia, Southern Italy. These gnarled heirlooms yield precious few grapes, meaning each one is a knot of intensely concentrated flavour. In the winery, Angelo treated it to six months’ barrel ageing, imparting toasty oak and sweet spice notes to the wine’s lusciously ripe, black- and bramble-fruit flavours. This is a stunner. Enjoy.

Sorellina King Valley Prosecco

Boasting a delicate nose displaying apple and pear characters. While this wine retains the freshness and vibrancy that Prosecco is known for, just think sunshine & bubbles in a glass.
