Established in 1858 by the first king of Italy, Fontanafredda is now the single largest contiguous wine estete in the Langhe region, with a fierce commitment to organic viticulture as well as woodland regeneration. The Platinum label represents the unique tradition of the Estate and more than 160 years of history. The Nebbiolo grapes used to produce this Barolo are grown on claily soils very rich in calcareous marl. The wine ages for 2years in large Slavonian and French oak casks. An attractive ruby-red colour with garnet highlights. Clean, full and intense aromas with the wine's typical traces of dried flowers, crushed leaves and underbrush. There is plenty of structure, with robust tannins supported by fleshy red fruits, liquorice, and subtle mocha notes Pair with rich red meats, game and mature cheese.

Tsilili Dark Cave 5 Year Old Tsipouro

Tsililis is a Winery-Distillery founded in 1989 and situated at Meteora, Trikala in Central Greece. With an organically cultivated vineyard of 20 hectares around Meteora and prehistoric Theopetra Cave, in the Meteora PGI appellation, we produce still & sparkling wines and grape distillates, highlighting old regional grape varieties 85% Muscat of Hamburg, 15% Roditis, 5% other. The distillation of grape marc is a discontinuous (batch) process and takes place in small copper-inox pot-stills. The heart of distillate is aged in French and American oak cask, of max. 500L volume, for at least 5 years (5-12 years of aging). Some of the oak casks and brand new, some have been used for red wine aging and some have been used for Vinsanto (sweet Santorinian wine) aging. After aging, distillates are carefully blended and diluted with purified water to 41% alc./vol. Awarded 5 stars by Difford's Guide and considered the epitome of Greek tsipouro. This aged tsipouro pairs beautifully with any mediterranean appetisers and it's an ideal digestive. Best served cool and neat and perfect in luxurious cocktails. On the nose there are intense fruity aromas of dried fruits including raisins, prunes and bergamot peels. As well as spicy aromas like vanilla, chocolate and nutmeg with hints of walnut. This aged tsipouro has a robust but supple body, cleansing spicy and fruity flavours and a complex aromatic aftertaste. Enjoy it neat or with a single ice cube. Perfectly mixed in luxurious cocktails. Nose - Dried Fruits, Vanilla, Spiced Intense fruity aromas of dried fruits such as raisins, prunes and bergamot peels, spicy aromas like vanilla, chocolate and nutmeg. Palate - Supple, Intense, Robust but supple body, spicy and fruity flavours. Finish - Smooth, Fine, Aromatic Cleansing spice and complex aromatic aftertaste.

Sottimano Cotta Barbaresco

Situated between Neive and the town of Barbaresco itself, Cotta beautifully combines the rich, fuller-bodied nature of Neive, with the tannic structure of Barbaresco. With a south-west exposure, it is usally the richest and roundest of the Sottimano crus, typically showing abundant red and black fruits with refined nuances of mint, leading to a palate of notable length. The tannins are there, but beautifully expressive and silky. A benchmark Barbaresco with a 15-20 year cellar life.

Elena Fucci Aglianico Del Vulture Titolo

Grown on volcanic soils, this wine has a deep and intense ruby red appearance. The nose has enticing aromas of ripe blackberries, cherries, plums and hints of violets.
