La Dama is the largest sustainable blue agave grower in the world. This Blanco Tequila is made from 100% agave, organically grown in the highlands of Los Altos. Aroma: Pear, lemon and rosemary, with wafts of smoke, autumnal spices and cooked agave. Palate: A striking balance of fruity, herbal and sweet caramelised agave. A delightfully silky, creamy texture, finishing with warm and clean, with hints of chocolate. Process: Cooked inside traditional masonry ovens for 72 hours. Fermented with wild yeast. Double distilled in a small community owned distillery in Tototlan; the land of the birds. Each artisanal, diamond-shaped bottle is created from “useless, forgotten scraps” of recycled glass. What was seen as wastage, is given a new, beautiful life. La Dama is committed to aiding the local community: paying the highest industry wages, and donating educational resources to local schools with each bottle sold.

This drink belongs to a special reserve by our Master Distiller, whose bottles are signed by the owner of the factory, Mr. Carlos Hernandez. The distillery is rich in tradition that it inherited in the name La Cofradía in 1995. The word Cofradía descends from Spain and means fraternity of brothers or brotherhood. This selection is offered three presentations: Silver, Reposado aged 6 months, and Anejo aged 12 months. From the special reserve of La Cofradía, each bottle is signed by Mr. Carlos Hernandez Hernandez, the founder and owner of Tequila La Cofradía. Talavera take its name from the pattern of the design painted onto the bottle. The tequila is an authentic taste and quality of 100% agave which is a delight to the palate. Talavera holds the Super-Premium quality of Cofradia Tequila, which is aged in wooden barrels for 6 months. The bottles are hand made then baked in an oven to create individual ceramic containers.
