Sitting high in the Adelaide Hills, Sidewood hand craft single vineyard wines of the utmost complexity. Their Chardonnay is made up of four French Chardonnay clones from the Ashwood vineyard and shows a crisp front palate with lifted layers of aromatic fruit. Each clone provides a unique flavour profile to the end result and delivers a wine displaying complex pear, peach & fig fruit flavours with some lovely nutmeg and sage spice notes.

Moss Wood is one of the oldest Margaret River wineries and has an enviable reputation for high quality, stylish wines that are true to place. Arguably one of the country's top ten Chardonnays, this is a wine that demonstrates finesse and elegance in equal proportions to intensity and power. Fantastically bold yet classicly proportioned, this is a wine to be savoured with fine fare and great friends.

A more restrained style, Yeringberg Chardonnay has some minerally notes overlayed with subtle hints of fermentation in French oak barrels. Not an overt wine, yet possessed of impressive intensity. It should develop a soft and smooth maturity after several years in the cellar.

Sourced and grown in the Adelaide Hills, this is a fine example of how good Chardonnay from this region can be. This is a blend of 3 different cultivars of the Chardonnay grape. Bunch pressed and in part wild fermented. Partial malolactic fermentation imparts further complexity. A beautifully textured and complex wine.

Stonier is a master of regularly providing excellent cool-climate Mornington Chardonnay at a very reasonable price, the last coule of vintages proving to be exceptional! Fresh and delicate with sherbet and citrus flavours, short term cellaring will be repaid.

Angove Family Winemakers have created a certified organic Chardonnay that has been sourced from organic vineyards in both the Riverland and McLaren Vale wine regions. The result is a bright and attractive medium-bodied white wine that displays aromas of cantaloupe, peach and crisp citrus. A soft, well-rounded finish and a luscious length provide a fantastic organic alternative to one of Australia's favourite wine styles.

The citrus rind and grapefuit lead the palate to an overall fine yet textural journey. Cape Mentelle Chardonnay had this distinctive minerally line too, apparent with focussed refreshing acidity. Faint nuancesof soft nougat and cashews also add to what is a harmonious balance and an elegant and length finish.

This Chardonnay has a distinctive nose that leaps from the glass and displays a lovely tropical fruit aroma. The wine has a rich creamy finish while being silky smooth and easy to drink.

Main Divide is named after the local name for Southern Alps that divide New Zealand's south island in two. Their 2008 Chardonnay is made using traditional Burgundian methods and has resulted in a wine of great complexity. Aromas and flavours of zesty citrus, with palate covering peach and a hint of fresh toast.
