The gateway to double cask maturation, Aberlour 12 year old double cask matured has balanced notes of fruits and spices. Golden amber with hints of ruby red. This is a complex dram, packed with flavour and texture. 13 Years Old, from an 1891 distillery. Bottled at a punchy 46% ABV. A stubborn, sulphurous single malt, condensed in rusted worm tubs on an inhospitable rocky bluff.

The Spey River Single Malt Scotch whisky is matured in traditional American Oak casks until it achieves the perfect balance of green leafy notes in harmony with sweet delicate oak. The whisky is then transferred into first fill Bourbon casks to allow further development of sweet vanilla notes.
