John Samson Scotch is crafted by a Master Distiller who, using decades of experiance, blends malt and grain whiskies hand selected from Scotland's finest Speyside and Highland distilleries.

A new release from The Macallan and one we were thrilled to learn of. Matured in a combination of American and European Sherry oak almost 50:50, though slightly weighted towards American oak ex-Sherry casks. New oak is shipped from America across to Spain, where expert Coopers craft casks. These casks are then sherry seasoned before traveling to the Speyside distillery to mature for twelve years. These whiskies are then united with counterparts aged in sherry seasoned European oak casks. The result is, as you might expect nothing short of seamless. On the palate youll find some spice along with some green fruits though the meat of the palate remains true to style, featuring fat caramelised sultanas, vanilla and wood spice. Called The Monarch, Dewars 15 years old was named after the famous 1851 painting The Monarch of the glen by Sir Edwin Landseer, which was purchased by Tommy Dewar in 1916. Hornet IPA, the first IPA from Black Hops Brewing, is a beer with some bite to it. Dry, angry, and bitter, this is a modern IPA with a subtle sweet side hiding among hints of stone and citrus fruits, and the ever present hoppy bitterness.

Made in the fabulous Benromach distillery, Red Door Gin is a small-batch, handcrafted London Dry style gin. The botanical selection was inspired by Scotlands mountains, forests and coastal fringes, featuring the likes of bitter orange, sea buckthorn, heather and rowanberries alongside the requisite juniper. Distilled in the affectionately named copper pot still, Peggy, it was created using the vapour-infused distilling method, which steams the neutral base spirit through a total of eight botanicals. It was bottled at 45% ABV, in a rather stylish and, appropriately, red receptacle. Red Door Gin can be enjoyed in a variety of serves, from a classic G&T to a Negroni or Martini. Sharp citrus cuts through bright juniper and floral heather. A bitter herbal note lingers underneath with touches of honey and chocolate.

Pure ingredients and the natural environment add to smooth and mellow character of our award-winning Tomintoul Speyside Glenlivet Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 'the gentle dram'. Tomintoul 'With A Peaty Tang' has been made with peated malt barley to give it a deep smoky flavour. This makes 'Peaty Tang' very unusual, most distilleries in the Speyside region do not use peat.

Johnnie Walker Gold Label is one of the world's most iconic whiskies. Showing flavours of maple syrup, spices and malt on the nose which is then followed by a dry smokiness and a sweet creamy vanilla mouthfeel. The inherent richness evolves on the finish with a raisiny, sweet sherry flavour.
