With no other plan but to make good and honest beers, The Grifter Brewing Company began when Matt King, Glenn Wignall and Trent Evans set out to do just that in 2012. Proudly independent to this day, the guys have been steadily running their own race ever since. The original plan hasn’t changed, either. From the far-out and fruit-driven to classic styles with a new world spin, every Grifter beer is made with best-quality hops, malts and sheer drinkability in mind. Red Duck Pale Ale is a refreshing, modern styled beer. Brewed with plenty of Australian pilsner malt and Cascade, Simcoe, Saaz, Centennial, Hallertau and Chinook hops this beer is a perfect all round tasty pale.

A medium to full bodied Irish Style Ale beer with a light reddish hue. A malt accented beer which starts with initial malt sweetness and finishes with a dryness from the addition of small quantities of roasted barley. Kent Golding hops provide the low hop bitterness and aroma which in keeping with this style. An easy drinking smooth beer.

A light Ale crafted using 100% malt, so you can enjoy a full bodied light Ale. Prickly Moses Light Ale is brewed with pure Otway rainwater.

This refreshing golden Ale from Prickly Moses has hints of tropical fruit, honey and citrus. It is made to help support the conservation of Tiger Quolls. It is brewed with pure Otway rainwater.

A medium bodied ale which is light amber in colour, derived from the use of caramel malts. A refreshing but appetizing beer with toffee and caramel flavours balanced nicely with a blend of traditional English hops for bittering and American hops for aroma. The all malt ale is warm fermented which adds some complexity to the beer and leads to a fruity aroma which compliments this particular style of beer.

James Squire One Fifty Lashes Pale Ale is a crisp finishing, Australian style cloudy Pale Ale with malted wheat for refreshing character and a concoction of hops which create fruity aromas of passion fruit, grapefruit and citrus.

OBrien Pale Ale is a 100% gluten free light golden ale with abundant citrus and tropical fruit flavours with a light sweetness. OBrien Pale Ale was Australias first commercially produced gluten free beer and is made from gluten free millet and sorghum malts. It is a full bodied American style pale ale, and has been awarded multiple medals at the Australian International Beer Awards.

The easy going surf rock of pale ales. This decidedly hoppy beer has a melody of fresh hop character led by tropical fruits, Pineapple and passionfruit, reminiscent of chilled out summer days. The lingering tropical hop and mellow malt flavours are the smooth finish to this Tropical Pale Ale.

Modus Operandi Pale Ale is dry hopped with some of the biggest hops from the Yakima Valley. This choice selection brings out a lively layer of aromatics, with hints of pine and citrus which follow onto the palate. A crisp, dry finish caps it off.
