Sanaig, named after an inlet on Islays rugged Atlantic coast, is a vatting of Kilchoman whisky matured in both ex-Sherry and ex-Bourbon barrels. The high proportion of Oloroso sherry casks creating a unique balance of dried fruits, dark chocolate and rich peat smoke. This exceptional spirit was awarded a Gold Medal in the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits for being an exceptional spirit that is near the pinnacle of achievement and sets the standard for its category. As part of Kilchoman's core range, Sanaig is permanently available and on-going. Named after the most spectacular beach on Islay, Machir Bay is the flagship of the Kilchoman range. It has a vatting of approximately 90% ex-Bourbon barrels and 10% ex-Oloroso sherry casks. At the peak of the Jura distillery's core range (relaunched in mid-2018) sits the Isle of Jura 18 Year Old. This expression aged in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels before enjoying a finishing period in Premier Grand Cru Classé Bordeaux barrels, imparting a rich fruitiness. Top stuff for late evening dramming.

A revitalised Fettercairn, focusing on the distillery’s fruity character. Matured in ex-bourbon casks for 12 years, this is packed with tropical flavour without losing the distillery’s weightiness and gentle gingery spice.Nose: Candied lemon and pineapple, butter icing and a hint of mint. A touch of meatiness sits right at the back, giving the dram some weight. The sweetness builds and orchard fruit develops along with vanilla, milk chocolate and some green leaves. A thread of fruitiness runs through the middle.Palate: Soft and rounded, with gentle spice, milk chocolate and sweet cream leading. Fresh pineapple notes are balanced by fresh oak, with damp oak and damp leaves following. Cinnamon, candied ginger and nutmeg develop, along with a touch of creamy coffee.Finish: Vanilla cream, chocolate and coffee fade to leave menthol and crunchy apples.

Showcasing the more rugged side of Glenglassaugh, this smoky expression offers a satisfying combination of sweet peat and umami. Sherry and port wine casks bring notes of treacle, dark chocolate and spice, while savoury undertones bring to mind beach barbecues and coastal breeze.

Inspired by the crescent beach of Sandend Bay, Glenglassaugh Sandend is matured in bourbon, sherry, and manzanilla casks for luscious waves of flavor.

Matured for many years in traditional Whisky casks before being finished in sherry casks, this 12 year old single malt from Balvenie is rich and smooth. It's characterised by rich honey sweetness and a delicate layer of Sherry that lingers on the palate.
