The Brewery: Untouched 1960’s facade of the Public Bar and Brewery building has long been an icon on the streetscape of industrial Marrickville. Behind the exterior, the old yoghurt factory stood empty for over 20 years before Philter moved in. We’re proud to bring the building back to life and become part of the historical fabric of the suburb we know and love.

A Hazy Pale Ale with big tropical and citrus notes, hopped with a generous amount of Citra, Mosaic and Citivia. Low bitterness and a dry finish.

A favourite with generations of South Australians this well-balanced beer with a clean hop bitterness is an outstanding example of an Australian draught Lager.

Deep golden colour and a dense foam. Full nose of pine, apricot, citrus, grapefruit and light plum with a slight dank hop grassiness. Light malty in flavour. Strong hop flavours of pine, citrus, apricot and stone fruit. Strong but very smooth bitterness from front to end. Medium-light body with a dry smooth yet bitter finish, leaving you wanting for more. The hop cones were lured by the tunes of the Piper to give this IPA extra flavours.

A versatile little nutter made from roasted Macadamia Nuts & toasted Native Australian Wattleseed. Pour over ice with a slice of lime, or mix into your Espresso Martini for something a little more unexpected.

Unique Australian & traditional gin botanicals are vapour distilled through column basket with triple distilled Shiraz to produce our goddess gin.

The isn’t the average industrial lager. Old world and new world hops deliver floral and spicy aromas, setting the stage for a clean, Modern Pilsner that nods to its old world roots while bringing a certain mischievous youth to the party. Classic, but far from ordinary.

With delicate refreshment in mind, this new world pilsner with 100% real watermelon added to the fermenter, gives a subtle, yet delightful layer of fruit amongst a clean lager finish.
