Three friends, including two Australians, went on a trip to Guadalajara, Mexico back in 2005. It was there between sips of tequila that they made a pact to begin the journey to make extraordinary tequila. They found partners in maverick master distiller, Marco Cedano, and his son Rodrigo. These were men skilled in the art of turning blue agave into bottled brilliance. Its smooth, viscous finish emits fresh botanical aromas and tasting notes of mint, pineapple and caramel.

Olmeca Altos Reposado Tequila is produced in the picturesque Los Altos, situated 2000+ metres above sea level, and is know for its mineral-rich, volcanic tierra roja (red earth), which is complemented by a unique microclimate. These combined factors contribute to the cultivation of the highest quality blue Agave, used by Olmeca Altos for producing their award winning tequila. Aged 6 to 8 months in ex-Bourbon barrels.

Taking the crown for the world's longest rested Blanco expression, Herradura Plata (silver) is a very clean, crisp tequila aged for 45 days to add a hint of colour and oak to its unique citrus character. The result brings more agave flavour and unparalleled taste to a margarita.

Very pale straw gold appearance. Fairly restrained on the nose with a soft, seamlessly integrated amalgam of vanilla, green tomato and chile peppers followed by traces of mint. A soft light entry expands to reveal a light to medium bodied reposado with a slightly oily texture and restrained vanilla / agave and pepper flavours intensifying towards a deliciously salty finish. Concludes fresh and delicate with a subtle waxy green tomato fade. Elegant and understated.

1800 Coconut is created by infusing 1800 Silver Tequila, made from 100% Blue Agave harvested and handpicked from family owned ranches in Jalisco, with fresh, ripe coconut flavor. The delicate coconut flavor and mild sweetness perfectly balanced the bold notes of the 1800 Silver, yielding a unique, tropical taste experience. Herradura was the world's first distillery to introduce Reposado or rested tequila when introduced in 1974 and has been producing this excellent style ever since. Aged in American oak barrels for 11 months, giving the tequila a beautiful balance of cooked agave, sweet oaky vanilla & cinnamon.
