The story goes that twin 'beerded' brothers, Thomas and Charles, set out to find the great inland sea of Australia, Lake Eyre. Ensuring they stowed plenty of Pale Ale for their journey into the scorching centre, they soon had no choice but to stay put and let the water find them. This Pale Ale is the lead beer of the Steamrail range, picking up a Bronze medal at the 2016 Royal Adelaide Beer Awards & Silver Medal at Australian International Beers Awards 2018. A Pale Ale brewed with wheat and crystal malt. It has two additions of the citrus and floral cascade hop in the brewhouse. Fat Yak is created in the traditional North American pale ale style. The style has been popular with boutique beer drinkers in the States for some time but only recently has come onto the radar for the more adventurous beer drinkers.A lovely golden amber colour, the first impression is the distinctive hop driven fruity aromas, giving characteristic passionfruit and melon notes.
