We had the idea of pairing a chilled, full bodied red wine with the Christmas Day Australian BBQ thus our Sparkling Shiraz was born. Carefully crafted and spending up to 8 months in American oak, it is ruby red colour with a lifted nose of red berry and dark cherry. Made from our Shiraz grape, the palate is soft with plum fruit characters. The finish is smooth and refreshing with a fine persistent bead.Drinking wonderfully now yet will improve over the next 4 to 7 years.Ideal with any roast meats - particularly roast turkey.

Made for use as a communion wine, it is suitably soft, sweet and approachable.

Charming aromas of red forest-fruits and cherry are enhanced with fine notes of rose petals. The palate shows balance, a round mouthfeel, soft tanins and a long, aromatic aftertaste. Light and spicy with refreshing acidity render. Match to pasta, vegetarian dishes and barbeque delights. Merlot 50%, Xinomavro 25%, Syrah 25% Grapes are hand-picked and selected on a double sorting table prior to crush. For each variety the must is cold soaked at 11-12°C in a reductive environment for 2-5 days depending on the quality of the grapes. Fermentation takes place at 20- 22°C, followed by malolactic fermentation in tank. During the first five months of the year, the lees are stirred twice a week (batonnage), in order to achieve a fuller body. After the final blend the wine is bottled, usually in April after the harvest. The winemaker's main objective is to achieve maximum fruit extraction, while preserving a good level of acidity. Stellios Boutaris is the fifth generation winemaker, today heading up Kir-Yianni, founded in 1997 by his father, Yiannis, following his departure from the Boutari family business. Boutari, the largest and oldest wine company in Greece, had been established by Yiannis grandfather in 1879. Kir-Yianni makes wine across two regions in the north of Greece Amyndeon and Naoussa, with the aim of producing terroir driven wines that speak of place. In Naoussa, the 58 Ha vineyard is located on the east slopes of Mount Vermion, situated at an altitude of 250 to 350 m.a.s.l. on sandy, clay soils. Located at just 100 km from the Agean Sea, it enjoys a cool, Mediterranean climate. In contrast, Amyndeon is the coldest wine growing region in Greece. At an altitude of 750 m.a.s.l. the climate is continental, tempered only by the presence of four lakes which create a very special microclimate. The soils are poor and sandy, and unaffected by phylloxera. Specialising in the native Greek grape variety xinomavro, the wines of both Naoussa and Amyndeon have a layered complexity of fruit and serious acidity, which give them a unique character and long ageing potential.

First released in 1993, this wine was renamed d'Arry's Original in honour of third generation family member Francis d'Arenberg Osborn, universally known as d'Arry.Medium garnet with a brick hue. Spice, crushed leaf and blood plum. Brooding and intense, with a fragrant entry of subtle florals and ripe dark fruit, and lovely acidity maintaining shape and structure. Generous, long and flavoursome.

Château Tanunda's Newcastle combines Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Carignan and Cinsault for this Rhône styled Barossa Valley red blend. The wine is deep and dark in colour with big, juicy aromas with a hint of vanilla and French oak. This juiciness is continued onto the palate with raspberries, dark stone fruit and some light tannins. The structure is super smooth leading to a long, elegant finish.

Château Tanunda Chorus a classic Spanish blend with a unique Barossa twist. Sourced from the tapestry of terroirs in the Barossa sub regions of Tanunda the wine offers lifted aromas of cherry and raspberry accompanied by the dark berry and forest fruits on the palate.

Intense ruby with purple highlights. Intriguing, complex, blackcurrant and wild herb. Mouth filling with ripeness, texture and graininess. A charming Cabernet Sauvignon spiced up with some characterful Sangiovese would be perfect for such an occasion!

Powerful black fruited aromas of fresh blackberry, roasted tomato and blackcurrant with layers of dried sage, damp earth and graphite. The oak adds a creamy and almond meal texture to the powerful blackberry, dark cherry and fruit on the palate. The succulence typical of the Morgans site is extended and balanced by layers of fine tannin, building into a persistent pencilly/graphite textured finish. 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot Handpicked and de-stemmed to small open-top fermenters, we let the ferments go wild. Hand-plunging often and vigourously we press ferments off skins when the tannins are melting in your mouth, about 5 weeks after ferment starts. The Snake + Herring brand is a wine safari searching for remarkable grapes from West Australian Vineyards. The Search has begun, and our grape balloon manned by Snake (our winemaker) and Herring (our navigator) represent this.The southwest of WA is a viticultural treasure map as there are vineyard jewels scattered throughout. We seek for blocks within vineyards that really shine; they may seem dull when diluted by the bordering lesser dirt. The search is to find and polish these often overlooked gems and present a treasure chest of different jewels: pristine, crystalline Rieslings; crisp, radiant, multi-faceted Chardonnays; alluring, perfumed Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon; dark, exotic, hedonistic Shiraz; brilliant, regal displays of Cabernets and blends.

Valcatrina Tinto has a good concentration on the nose. Rich in aroma with notes of black ripe fruit combined with notes of spices from the ageing in oak barrels. In the mouth it presents good structure with ripe tannins. The aftertaste is rich, elegant and long.
