Akasha is an independent Sydney based brewery that is producing truly premium beers with a commitment to the use of high quality ingredients. The Freshwater is an American-style pale ale, full of Cascade hops that provide a floral, citric fruitiness which is offset by a malt-driven spine and gentle bitterness. It's an incredibly refreshing and approachable introduction to Akasha's powerful repertoire.

With no other plan but to make good and honest beers, The Grifter Brewing Company began when Matt King, Glenn Wignall and Trent Evans set out to do just that in 2012. Proudly independent to this day, the guys have been steadily running their own race ever since. The original plan hasn’t changed, either. From the far-out and fruit-driven to classic styles with a new world spin, every Grifter beer is made with best-quality hops, malts and sheer drinkability in mind. Here’s our Hazy Pale. With all the flavour you expect from a haze and the signature refreshment of our pales, this one is a juicy, easy-drinking gem. You can expect tropical fruit, floral, melon and lemon-lime aromas.The Brewery: Untouched 1960’s facade of the Public Bar and Brewery building has long been an icon on the streetscape of industrial Marrickville. Behind the exterior, the old yoghurt factory stood empty for over 20 years before Philter moved in. We’re proud to bring the building back to life and become part of the historical fabric of the suburb we know and love.

Young Henrys wouldnt be what it is without Newtown. Its their home, community and inspiration. So when the suburb celebrated its sesquicentenary they were invited to brew a unique beer to celebrate, they jumped at the chance. The resulting beer was an Aussie Pale Ale called Newtowner. In a bit of a nod to the suburbs past and present influences, we used a blend of English and Australian malts. Then we added three varieties of local hops to make it fun, fruity and even a little bitter. Carton of 24 x 375mL Cans.

Fat Yak is created in the traditional North American pale ale style. The style has been popular with boutique beer drinkers in the States for some time but only recently has come onto the radar for the more adventurous beer drinkers.A lovely golden amber colour, the first impression is the distinctive hop driven fruity aromas, giving characteristic passionfruit and melon notes. Theres an expression used at the Coopers brewery; Born to brew, its an expression and sentiment spoken by many but with over 150 years dedicated to the art of brewing, in this instance its true. Coopers truly are a brewing family with six generations that date back to 1862 when Thomas Cooper brewed his first batch of ale. Whether youre in camp green or red, rest assured youre getting six generations of Coopers family passion for brewing in each sip.
