Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Brut Non-Vintage
The origin of the House dates back to 1812, created by André Michel Pierlot, it will take the name of Veuve Laurent-Perrier when Mathilde Emilie Perrier, widow of Eugène Laurent decides to combine the two family names while she ensures the development. Eugénie Hortense Laurent, his daughter, inherited the House in 1925 and sold it to Marie-Louise de Nonancourt, née Lanson, in 1939. Laurent Perrier La Cuvée comes from the purest grape juice and it alone allows Laurent-Perrier to craft La Cuvée, a champagne of great finesse and a beautiful freshness obtained after a long ageing process in our cellars. Laurent-Perrier’s style and personality are defined by its very high proportion of Chardonnay. Purity, freshness and elegance – essential characteristics, expressed in this champagne – are a good introduction to the spirit of the House.

Taittinger Brut Millesime
Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle Nº25 Champagne
Grand Siècle is a Prestige Cuvée that is a unique concept, different from the others. It is the only Cuvée de Prestige in Champagne based on the blend and not on the vintage. The vintage in Champagne is generally considered synonymous with excellence for Prestige Cuvées. Conversely, at Laurent-Perrier, their belief is that the art of blending can allow them to create what nature will never give us: the perfect year. The expression of the perfect year is that of a great Champagne wine that has developed a deep intensity and aromatic complexity, while managing to preserve its freshness and acidity over time. On this idea Grand Siècle was born in 1959. To create this wine, Laurent-Perrier will rely on the characteristics of the great vintage years of Champagne: freshness, structure, finesse.

Their signature style consists of an equal blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with a touch of Pinot Meunier, which comprises approximately one-fifth of the blend. Louis Roederer's most famous wine is Cristal, a prestigious Champagne that has captured the hearts of wine enthusiasts worldwide. The house was founded in 1833 and aimed to capture foreign markets, particularly Russia. Roederer became the wine of choice for the Russian royal family, and Cristal was created for Tsar Alexander II. Louis Roederer acquired grand cru vineyards in Champagne in 1845, which was unusual for the time as most houses were buying grapes from growers. Today, the Roederer vineyards encompass around 240 hectares of land, with around 25% managed biodynamically. This commitment to sustainable farming practices is a testament to the house's dedication to producing high-quality wines that are both delicious and environmentally responsible. The Vineyard: The year 2020 followed a similar trajectory to that of 2019 with a mild and rainy winter followed by a dry summer with several heatwaves which, although less extreme than in 2019, still had an impact on the yield. Fortunately, the weather was rather dull and a bit wet in June which provided a welcome humid interlude between two dry spells. Despite early impressions of relentless heat and sunshine, the temperatures and sunshine levels over the 2020 harvest period were actually relatively normal. These continental conditions, but with "normal" annual averages, enabled the production of mature and well-balanced wines! The harvests took place between 22 August and 11 September 2020. Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage (6 )
The 2016 vintage reveals a confident structure and generous texture, led by Pinot Noir with Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier in support. Notes of white peach, jasmine and brioche lead into a supple palate of aniseed, melon and fennel, underlined by a persistent freshness. Presented here as a six-bottle collection, it’s a layered, radiant Champagne made for thoughtful toasts or refined seasonal pairings — especially shellfish, chicken or soft cheeses. Maker: The legendary Moët & Chandon is celebrating 280 years as the world’s most loved champagne. For over a quarter of a millennium, the renowned French winemaker has been sharing the magic of champagne across the globe. Every glass overflows with the House’s hallmark values of history, generosity, savoir-faire, success, boldness and elegance—values still at the heart of its global appeal. Toward the end of the 18th century, Jean-Remy Moët, grandson of founder Claude Moët, became famous as the man who introduced champagne to the world. The important figures of the era, from the Marquise de Pompadour to Talleyrand to Napoleon quickly fell in love with the House’s effervescent wine. Moët & Chandon was soon the icon of success and elegance that it remains to this day. The Vineyard/Philosophy: At Moët & Chandon, the philosophy behind the Grand Vintage is to create a champagne that is more than just a product of nature but a true expression of craftsmanship and artistry. The Cellar Master’s interpretation of the year’s harvest is vital in shaping the wine’s profile, as each vintage is crafted from the best grapes selected from the Champagne House’s vast network of vineyards. While every vintage is unique, Moët & Chandon maintains a commitment to producing champagnes that are elegant, refined, and of the highest quality. The Grand Vintage series is a perfect reflection of this philosophy, offering a rare opportunity to taste the personal vision of Moët & Chandon’s winemakers, year after year. The enveloping and caressing texture is accompanied by floral, aniseed and mentholated nuances which bring lightness and freshness for such a solar vintage. Finish - Sappy, Racy Acidity, Fresh Almonds The finish lingers on a slightly sappy note, with a delicate bitterness evoking fresh almonds.
